They extended pre-orders for one more month and they are offering specials skins with the pre-orders. I still haven't figured what business model they will use for BoS. Will we pay for each aircraft or we have to pay ~50$ every time they release a new scenario (map + set of aircrafts)?

It means we are completely F..... If the IL from 777 has the same limited number of ground objects as RoF, it is going to be a disaster. Multiplayer missions will become Quake Air Wars or missions where stuff spawns in a timer because of the limited number of ground objects. Really sad news for the IL-2 community.

I might be able to help you with that, you are probably missing the USB drivers for your motherboard. Get on TS when you can.

+1 There is something that I want to add to the GS warmap. The ability for the users to see the warmap from previous missions. This would give them a clear pictures of troop movements during a campaign.

Something easy

I just got rudder pedals. My chair is wheeled so when I push the pedals and the chair moves away from the desk, why didn't you warn me about this? Now I understand the difference of turning and applying rudder at the same time, it makes a huge difference. Question, my x-52 is really old, with the rudder/twist locked, I'm still able to twist it a bit to each side, does this happen in all x-52 or is it because mine old and the parts are loose?

I read in the CoD forum that DCS is going to implement A2A aircrafts into DCS World. If this is true, we might be getting more aircrafts sooner than expected.

Try downgrading the video drivers to Catalyst 11.5.

Could you please stop posting in capital letters, you won't get more attention by doing it and it makes it really hard to read.

CTD is a memory related or a graphic driver issue. Are you running the game in opengl? What's the version of Catalyst that you have installed? Are you running any kind of mods? This might be the problem > Enabled "app can handle > 2GB address space" in DCG's dgen.exe with CFF Explorer. 512MB will be more than enough to run this game.

Control Panel -> Uninstall Program -> Uninstall Norton Install this, it's free http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_free_antivirus_setup.exe I don't know if you payed for Norton, but Avast will do the job and it's not a resources hog like Norton. Several pilots in GS have been using this since I recommended and they are happy with it.
