Can't believe this didn't make it into the movie. (Or maybe it did... and i'd just did some kind of mushroom ). Grace was hot. Feed your head

Totally agree. What jazzed me is the possibility of this being our Christmas (Hannuka, Quanza... ) present for 2018. Also, that they will probably release before Bodenplatte (actually mixed feelings about that... looking forward to some "merican planes )

Here's the youtube link. I've just listened to the first 10 min (3 hrs in length) but already came away with this... Flying Circus "should" be released in about a year. Bodenplatte will be later... sometime in 2019 . They are using "partners" in the coding (maybe some of the "Modders"?). The initial 100 x 100 map will eventually be expanded (hoping for an Italian front map). They are concentrating on late war planes because they perceive them as most popular and the best to make the initial release a success. (Can't really fault that logic but the implication is that they WILL do early planes as well). I'm sure there is more in this... like I said, this is just the 1st 10 min...

Love Messer Chups! Here's the Godfather of Surf Music (A god to me back in my surfer days in Huntington Beach) Dick Dale: Definetly not as photogenic as Zombierella though.

Thanks to 4Speed for providing the FNF server at the last moment! Here's the link to stats: http://fnfstats.newwingstraining.org/

That is so cool! Requiem is such a great guy! I hope to attend but I'm in the process of setting up my new PC (everything's working so far! I was sweating it). Hope to see y'all.

Perfect background for BOM

It works but I think most multiplayer servers have disallowed it because some people have found a way to use it as a cheat (not sure what they were doing... I think they were able to see all planes as icons on the map?). It does work in SP and I've used it to see my gunnery in practice missions.

It's about time for a new PC. My current is long in the tooth (I can't remember actually how old it is... surely a sign to upgrade). I'm trying to decide to build or buy a turnkey and am asking for advice. I know several of you have built your own and/or are involved in the IT industry. I have no qualms about installing the hardware. Yes, I know about protecting from ESD from doing avionics work. What concerns me is the initial setup of the BIOS, OS, Software and drivers. Additionally, I would like to clone my existing machine's load to the new machine (I have a complete image backup in Acronis). This would be necessary even with a turnkey purchase machine. My question is should I upgrade the existing Win 7 to 10 before cloning? I suspect that some of the registry files in 7 aren't compatible with 10. Could I load 7 on my new build... not sure if the new MB will accept 7 or if 10 is required. A turnkey would certainly have 10 installed. So these are the components I'm considering from the PC Gamer Build guide: http://www.pcgamer.com/pc-build-guide-high-end-gaming-pc/ CPUIntel Core i7-7700K Asus Maximus IX Hero G.Skill RipJaws 4 32GBNvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti EVGA Supernova 850 watt G2 80 Plus Gold Samsung 960 Pro 512GB Corsair H100i V2Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 Any thoughts? Would anyone be willing to volunteer to walk me through the initial set-up? Vonrd

Excellent vids Barton (I haven't actually screened them all yet) but... we miss you. are you going to come back from the auto sims?

Maybe it was the coal mining lobby? So they've got all my correspondence with Gov Jerry Brown and Dianne Feinstein? Guess I'll have to cancel dinner at the Governor's mansion.

I went to all SSD... they're relatively cheap. I do back-ups on a external HD. From what I understand, if an SSD takes a dump there are no ways to recover data whereas tech Gurus (and the Government) can recover at least some data from a spinner (HD).

Hi Peregrine3, I see from your application info that you're in Rhode Island. I lived there from 1984 - 1990. Working at RISD in the Glass Dept. Also got my Private Pilot's at North Central State Airport in Smithfield. I'm one of the several members that flies Cliffs of Dover. Hoping to fly with you.

A great idea. Wish I was better at video... maybe I'll spend some time learning. Just a thought though... maybe the title should be JG1 Videos in order to include other sims & etc?
-
Yeah, I know the story... but to hear it from the pilot's mouth (who has a refreshingly high, altogether not the Hollywood Basso Profundo, voice) is totally priceless. BTW, I currently work on an old Citation that is flown by a former Habu pilot... he's more like your armchair uncle than a "hair on fire" movie pilot. Thanks Maus!
