  1. The board may need to be patched - will talk to Spies.
  2. Have you tried running the webpage in Compatibility View through IE? Also, does this sound like your problem: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-board/ie-11-issues-with-ipboard-editor-r43251 If so:
  3. What version of IE are you running?
  4. Hi Spartan, It's good to speak with you again. I remember your name (Franz) from way back in the day. But, I'm not sure if you remember me. I was a member of Jasta 6 for a long time, under Wolfgang and Graser. And I was one of the commanders who formed II./JG 1, which is JG1's face within IL-2. To your question: JG1 is still the same JG1 that was formed in March of 1992 by Baron von Helton. The website has changed a bunch of times, and our membership has shifted and grown. But we still actively are flying flight sims, and have never closed shop. This year, we celebrate 22 years online, and are very proud to still have a bunch of our old RB3D pilots in our roster: Butzzell, Wurger, Lowengrin, RivRat, Degelow, and others. Yes, we do actively fly WW2 flight sims, like the various versions of IL-2. However, this squadron is still very much dedicated to WW1 simming. Since 2009, JG1 Richthofen has focused on Rise of Flight, which is the spiritual successor to Red Baron 3D. We were actually beta testers for that game. And, throughout the 2000s, quite a few of us still flew Red Baron 3D - that is, until the community finally collapsed. Truthfully, many of us would gladly try out another game created by Damon Slye. However, you can't call for the "rebirth" or "reformation" of something, like this squadron, that never went away and is still very much operating. If you'd like to re-join JG1 Richthofen, then we'd love to have you as a member. We practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and have a new Flanders in Flames event starting up in the Spring. And when the new Red Baron comes out, we can all explore that sim together. Let me know your thoughts. ~Salut!~ -Klai
  5. Hi Swabo, Are you just looking for someone who can work with Photoshop? Or is there some specific skill that you're looking for?
  6. Yeah, I agree. Everything that I've read about Mölders says that he was a good guy. He was extremely protective of his pilots, and they loved him for it. He had a strong moral center, and was a deeply religious man. And his desire to "do good" didn't bend or break due to political expedience. There are at least two credible testimonies that say he protected friends from the Holocaust. As a result, I've always thought it was very sad that the German government felt the need to remove his post-war honors. I mean, I understand why they did it. Mölders was a member of the Condor Legion and it was felt that any connection to that group is a connection to war crimes. But Mölders was never involved in Guernica or any other atrocity. So, I hope they eventually change their minds.
  7. Did it say that you didn't have permission to use that extension? If so, I think this is an aftershock from when Spies updated the forum server. I'll flag your post and draw his attention to this thread. I'm sure we can figure it out by tonight.
  8. There is also some interspersed shots of Werner Mölders getting into a Bf 109E, starting at 7:30 and going to right before we see the I./JG 3 Bf 109 starting up (at 8:45). It's cut to make it look like he's starting up the I./JG 3 aircraft. But it's obviously two (or three) films cut together (as he was in JG 51, and the markings of the Bf 109 being fueled don't match either).
  9. In a related link, I noticed this on liveleak: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0b3_1332814341 Not in color, but some very impressive footage. Of particular interest, check out the cockpit views of multiple Ju 87 attacks, starting around the 5:00 mark. There is also some I./JG 3 footage scattered throughout the video. There are some great formation shots of the squadron starting around 9:00. Just look for the tatzelwurms.
  10. I saw this! Really great footage.
  11. Cool!
  12. This looks like an amazing series! Is this the first one of the group? http://www.amazon.com/Development-German-Warplanes-WWI-Perspective/dp/1935881086/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1391799393&sr=1-3&keywords=Jack+Herri+Volume+1 May have to pick it up.
  13. Yeah, it almost looked like he was going to try and drop it on Barton.
  14. Great video Barton! Question: the prop graphics - is that new with stock 4.12.2? Or is that HSFX?
