  1. Wow, that looks like an amazing show! Thanks so much for posting pictures!!
  2. I would post your video in the bugs section of the IL-2 boards: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/48964-invisible-plane-bug/
  3. Invisible aircraft have been a huge problem in Flying Circus. I've heard that it happens in WW2 as well, but haven't personally seen it. I think it has something to do with view distances. Though 1CGS has been very quiet about how they hope to fix it.
  4. Hi @Drunken_Jedi Welcome! Thanks for taking a look at us! And I'm glad to hear that you like the website. I'll send you a email, to the address you registered with. Looking forward to talking more soon!
  5. Hi @Vernon Whitley, Welcome! The FIF tournament is on vacation at the moment, for the Summer. But we'll be back again in a few months! In the meantime, I've added you to the Red Team. You should now be able to see their area on the forums when you login. The Red Team uses JG1's Teamspeak. You should see a link within the Red Team area giving you that information. If you don't see it, just shoot me a message. @Klaiber Here is a link to the tournament calendar: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/3010-flanders-in-flames-calendar/ When missions are running, they happen on Saturdays at 2PM EDT / 6PM UTC. On mission days, we recommend that everyone arrive on TS about 15 to 20 minutes early. The server password is passed out via TeamSpeak. Should you have any questions, just let me know.
  6. Thanks Hess!

  8. The FIF 2020 "Spring Campaign" has officially come to an end! Unfortunately, due to the very late start, we were only able to get one phase-of-play in before July. But what a Phase! After 4 weeks of fighting, only 2 points separate the two teams. And with no Phase B, the Blue Team has emerged victorious! Congratulations to everyone for an extremely well-fought and well-flown campaign. Both teams adapted well to the new environment that Flying Circus offered. And while there were a few technical snafus here and there, the overall experience was extremely enjoyable. Should anyone have any suggestions on how FIF can be improved, definitely let @Butzzell or I know. As we pause for the Summer, we've already started working on the next Campaign! We'll share more details in the coming months. We look forward to flying with you all! In the meantime, let us lift our glasses filled with our favorite libations and toast our virtual opponents. Prost! Salut! To celebrate the conclusion of the Spring Campaign, here is the FIF campaign ribbon. Blue for the Blue Team. Red for the Red Team. War weary DVII

Here's an example of “corn plasters” (hühneraugenpflaster), covering bullet holes: Also, here is a reconditioned Fokker: http://www.theaerodrome.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70199 And here's a captured Albatros, with a repaired engine and fuselage: http://silverhawkauthor.com/german-warplanes-flown-by-the-luftstreitkrfte-19141918-preserved_411.html Hopefully this helps!

  15. The supercarrier is amazing.
  16. It looks like an awesome campaign. And even better since you're in it. Now I just have to remember how to fly the Hornet.
  17. That's really cool how they restored the footage! Was always a fan of INXS.
  18. For that, I think you'll have to talk to whoever created the Jasta 5 squadron on the stats page: http://fif.jg1.org:8000/en/pilots/3/J5_/?tour=28 It might be Gamecock? Or Baeumer?
  19. I recognize his voice from Gorillaz. Always loved his flow.
  20. Speaking about the Dies Irae, a band from my youth. One of the first symphonic metal songs.
  21. Hi @J5_JosefMai, You're all set for the Blue Team. You should now have access to the Blue Team area. Let me know if you have any questions.
  22. My co-worker is a HUGE Nightwish, Wardruna and Heillung fan. We were actually supposed to go see Nightwish. Had tickets and everything. But the venue oversold the concert and we couldn't get in despite having tickets. Yup... it sucked. Nope... never seeing a show there again.
