  2. I bought the I-16 and the Fw 190A-8. I'm weak.
  3. In the meantime, JG1 members should use our Discord server. This is available in the Private Unit Discussions area.
  4. Hmm. Not sure then.
  5. I'm not sure if you have this, as it could be an Admin thing. But click on the notification bell. Then go to notification settings (upper right). You should be able to tweak it there.

  7. All, Login to the forums has been changed to email address. This way, I can mess with your usernames and still give you full access. If someone has problems logging in, let me know. You can do that by emailing me. Or hitting Report Post above (which should work even if you're not logged in). Thanks!
  8. All, Gustavo found this information regarding usernames and display names within the current version of IP.Board: As a result, I'm going to go through and update everyone's usernames. I will individually contact everyone's account I touch. This way, no one will lose access.
  9. That's a great tip! I'm wondering if there is a way for me or Brit (as Admins) to change it for people.
  10. S! All, Some notes on the upgrade: We seem to have lost our display names. Our usernames (the ones we login with) are now displaying. Not sure how to fix this. Some special characters in your username, or in posts, may have become jumbled in the update. Let me know if anyone has problems they can't fix. If you can't access your accounts (due to password problems) request a replacement password from the forums. Once you sign in, you can change the password back again. Also, our forum sigs appear to have been stripped off our profiles.
  11. All, The jg1.org forums will be updated this weekend, 18 May through 20 May 2019. People should expect some slight forum instability and inaccessibility during late Sunday / early Monday (EDT). Everyone can continue to message and chat up until that point. However, there may be some posts lost as we close in on that time frame. After the update takes place, there will be some quality control needed, and that may keep the forums down until Monday night. However, things should return soon after. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

  14. Hi EdwardWilliam, You're already registered to the Blue Team. The Blue Team uses Jasta 5's TeamSpeak server. When you login to the forums again, you should see the Blue Team private area of the boards. The pinned post at the top of those private forums has Jasta 5's TS info. Let me know if you have any trouble locating it. The tournament calendar is here: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/3010-flanders-in-flames-calendar/ We meet on Saturdays at 2PM EDT / 6PM UTC. On mission day, my advice would be come a few minutes early. The server password is always passed out via TeamSpeak. And you'll need to collect your mission orders for the team commanders. Looking forward to flying with you soon!
  15. I'm definitely going to pick it up. Should be really a lot of fun in the air.
  16. For anyone checking the boards right now, they're flying it live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VUrF7AfVBc
  17. Out of nowhere! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/i-16/ Looks like it could be a ton of fun, though a bit out of place (even in the WW2 stable). Here are the discussions: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=133052 https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=340 Is anyone thinking of picking it up?
  18. An eighth fix, if people are interested: Apparently, the Microsoft Store will interfere with the CH Manager. So, when you start up the computer, and anticipate using your HOTAS, hit CTL + ALT + DELETE before you start the CH Manager. Go to Task Manager. And scroll down until you find Microsoft Store. Right click on it, and End Task. At this point, you can start CH Manager. And the download button should now work. Hope this helps someone.
  19. It still took me two hours to figure out. The real test will be whether it works today.
  20. Just a quick heads up with the most recent May 2019 Windows update. Because it was a comprehensive one, it screwed up my HOTAS. I had to unplug the stick, throttle, and pedals after it finished, and plug them back in again so that the computer could re-find them. If anyone is having problems with CH stuff, try that first.
  21. I read The Killer Angels a long time ago. Enjoyed it. I'll have to check out Jeffrey Sharra's book on WW1. Thanks for the recommendation.
  22. Yeah, the best I can find is: https://web.archive.org/web/20181203075950/http://blackhaze.0catch.com/history.html
  23. The only other one I could think of was Jasta 37 Black Wolf. http://web.archive.org/web/20040312194813/http://jasta37.tripod.com/
  24. Hi Archibald, could it possibly have been Black Haze (Jasta 7 and Jasta 16b)? http://blackhazesquad.proboards.com/ They're still around, but are unfortunately inactive at the moment.
