JG I "Richthofen" - FIFXXIV Session 1 (4 June 2016)
Britchot replied to Klaiber's topic in Squadron News
RoF is such a beautiful simulator, I only wish I had more time to dedicate to it. I hope my actions in the air let Vonrd live -
That's a pretty awesome summation, Barton! Pretty neat how public opinion can be shaped by a little misdirection, planned or not.
-
If you get it isolated where an iPhone can read it, I'd love to do the same!

I./JG 1 "Oesau" - ZG 26 Campaign (4 May 2016) - addendum
Britchot replied to Klaiber's topic in Squadron News
Congratulations to you both! Well done, meine Herren. -
I had the opportunity a couple of years ago to visit that same museum. Definitely well worth the trip. I have photos of my son a little younger than 2 in a cockpit of an A-4 holding the stick.

I know Klaiber will be along shortly with all the formal welcomes but please allow me to be the first to welcome you to our site. I look forward to the opportunity to fly with you in the future.

I./JG 1 "Oesau" - ZG 26 Campaign (27 April 2016)

Congratulations to all of you, well done sirs! -
I'll be home for this, maybe I can make it! I am going to need a reminder, though

That is cool. I was so bummed with Vista after XP that I've been gun-shy of any upgrade. My daughters have 8 on their computer and I avoid them like the plague. 10 has had several positive reviews here (Klai's post).

I'm hanging on to win7 for as long as I can!

Here's a link to the information: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/2676-jg1-teamspeak/ Do you have this and it isn't working?

S! All, The following JG1 pilot is being recognized for his actions in the creation of Jagdgeschwader 1 "Oesau." Congratulations! . . . War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords (Kriegsverdienst Kreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern): Oberst Alfred Klaiber, Stab/JG 1, for meritorious service while serving as the Geschwader commander in the conglomeration of I., II., and III. Gruppen of Jagdgeschwader 1 into a single, international virtual squadron. Oberst Klaiber was the chief proponent in the development a common structure that appealed to three existing squadrons, bringing them all under one historical moniker. His actions are not just a footnote in the proud history of the virtual Jagdgeschwader 1, but a new chapter, reflecting great credit upon him, Jagdgeschwader 1, and the virtual Luftwaffe.

That's a good order to get them in. Although, if you have a web-cam you can put together a free head tracking system. There are a few guys within the squadron with that setup that could help you. Just something to consider.
-
I had the freezing issues as well but offset my TrackIR camera to the left 1/3 of my monitor. I've had no issues since.
-
I've had my Track Clip Pro for nearly 4 years now and it's been glued, taped, and rubber banded together and still works. I've also heard they've improved the design, namely where the 90° angle rotates. However, as long as my MacGyver skills hold up, I'll stick with my Frankenstein.
-
This previously fixed my issues with reflection. I didn't know this, I'll have to remember it when I get home.

Japanese VR Game: Save The Cat Or Die Trying

An excellent test of hand-eye coordination and balance in one application. -
You shot down CH3, one of my first wingleaders in IL-2: 1946! Many Spits vs. 109s bombing runs were had with that guy leading me in.

Don't fall for Trev's lovelorn outlook! Comparing ArmA III to The Division is like apples and oranges. Yes, they are both shooters but The Division is an RPG with hitpoints and skill trees. That said, I'm excited to play it. It looks like a truly successful shooter MMORPG.

They have a pretty decent Halo mod, too Operation Trebuchet
-
That's what I noticed with the mods, too, they're pretty particular about who joins. That's why I like the 15th MEU's recruit server, it's somewhat open and they've let me play corpsman a few times. The realistic mods are the ones I go for, too.
