Ludwig Posted January 30, 2024 Report Posted January 30, 2024 "The Enemy Below" it will hold your attention and an honorable mention to "Lifeboat" if you have not seen it definitely worth a peek. Walter Slezak plays a heck of a role. Butzzell 1 Quote
Ludwig Posted January 30, 2024 Report Posted January 30, 2024 "Legends and Lies The Patriots" is on one of the Fox channels and I have always felt that the American Revolutionary War was one of the areas of military history I had not expended much effort and have made minimal inroads on correcting this. I saw a couple of episodes from Season 2 and they were pretty good. I have not been able to check the accuracy but so far there have not been any instances that were out of line with what I remember. Or in other terms, just another indestructible one man wrecking crew movie. Nothing new or unique about the movie. Imo, This movie is one for you to wait to watch on a streaming service for which you already pay monthly subscription fees. wheelsup_cavu Posted March 9, 2024 Report Posted March 9, 2024 I saw Dune: Part 2 on Sunday March 03, 2024. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15239678/ I did not see the original Dune nor have I read any of the books so I was not sure how much I would enjoy the movie. (Friend wanted to go who was a big Dune fanatic and I did not let them know that information before we went.) Another thing I did not know going in was that the movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes long without an intermission as is the case with several movies of that length. As for a review I found it to be an entertaining movie and I did not notice the time the movie ran until I got outside heading to my car and saw 3 hours had passed. That alone tells me the movie was good enough to keep me interested for that length of time since I did not leave to go to the bathroom or back to the concession stand because I was bored or uninterested in the story.
