Definitely, we had five SIA online with @WWCephas last night and each of us expressed our gratitude for his mad skills in map design. He recently completed a Battle of Britain map that we flew and it is an amazing map! He also spoke about adding tanks and many other design features planned for release. The guy is talented when it come to map design... @Etzel, @Greif, @Heinrich, spoke with him about the Arnhem, Nijmegen map and the Ground Battle portion. He has been modifying all the maps so some may have glitches here and there. Told me he will check the design, triggers, and code as his modifications progress. Report

As mentioned, this was a great evening where the team was on a roll with some very nice and effective team coordinated actions 👍 @Stahl very much agreed, the quality of the missions on the Wingwalkers server is off the charts, lots of dedication and outright talent in the mission design indeed. That's the reason why we tend to give (constructive) feedback when we observe peculiar behaviour when we play them, so that we can assist ever so slightly in their effort of realising these great and atmospheric missions. Whenever I take careful aim at something when I am bombing I almost always miss but when I just drop the bombs with no intentional target something like this happens all too often. 😱 Wheels Report

July 18, 20233 yr comment_84455 Near disaster while landing Got hit by flak over the target and just made it home before the left horizontal stabilizer and the left elevator fell off the plane. I flew about 45 minutes with the damage to the elevator. Wheels Report

September 13, 20233 yr comment_85268 I was unconscious at that particular moment in the screenshot. I did however get out in time, just barely. I was well below 500 feet going close to 300 mph when I got hit initially and that hit knocked me out. With me knocked out I zoom climbed to about 2,000 feet which caused all the AAA guns near me to open fire. Watching the replay it looks like I am the duck in a shooting gallery of duck hunters during the first hunt of the season and the only duck still in the air. Apparently the fireball and smoke trail I was leaving put on a pretty good show for the rest of my squadron since they were at least 10 to 15 km from my location when I got hit and they commented on it. September 17, 20233 yr comment_85297 Close call !!! There were 6 Player flown enemy aircraft searching for me and I could not believe that none of them saw me. The IL-2 in this screenshot was the one that flew the closest to me but it was a tense 10 minutes of them flying over and all around me before they finally gave up looking for me. I am guessing that they thought I had spawned out. There were also two Player manned T-34 tanks in the area looking for me too. Of which one finally got me with about three minutes left in the session. I got off the first shot at him and missed but he did not have as poor aim. 😵 Wheels Report
October 8, 20233 yr comment_85594 Some impressions of yesterdays action with SIA, where we flew attacks on a station and industrial complex at finnish virtual: We were at sparate discords but used SRS for X-coms which overall worked out fine... Action on the ground: There were also another Pilot doing High Level Bombing exactly at the same time on the same target: ..with pretty good results as well... Impressions from a second run on the same target: Heinrich unfortunatly was hit by GF on the way over there, same happened to Dobratz who followed behind: SIA Escort in Formation 😉 Perfect 3-pointer at the edge of the airfield 😉 In a 3rd Sortie I joined the escort flight with SIA as Heinrich was already flying to the same target again: on the way home Aproach on the Airfield... SIA Pilots know how to fly (and land) in formation... 😄 ...also Heinrich made it back with perfect 3-pointer... 🙂 Was nice action again... Report
November 11, 20232 yr comment_86145 It always amazes me what you miss while you are flying the missions. Deacon said he was on the ground but I flew right over him and I did not see him during our session since I was concentrating on the target, which I had just attacked, and trying to avoid flak, which ironically I did not see either and it is in the top left of the screenshot. From the screenshot I attached which I took from the video it looks like I am banking so I can fly over him. However I only saw where he and the flak were located while I was watching the recording I made during our session. The Nvidia GeForce Experience recording program has been good to me so far. It is not a stationary vehicle like the one in the background. The truck in the foreground is a moving vehicle that I spent way more than just a few minutes tweaking the last two waypoints over and over to actually get that truck to back into that spot under the camouflage nets consistently. One of my biggest irritations with the FMB is that trains can not be made to back up. Wheels Report
