Lipfert reacted to Vonrd in DCS Skin Submission
I made a few skins for the DCS Mosquito skin competition. Rather than clutter up this thread, here's the link on the DCS forum: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/319776-dcs-mosquito-fb-vi-livery-competition/page/5/#comment-5167111

Lipfert reacted to J5_Hotlead in Pick Up Group (PUG) Announcements
Salute all! I’ll be online on Sunday in Flugpark today. My timeline will be a little looser today, as I have some things to take care of at home before I get on. I should be on somewhere around 2-3pm CST (1-2 hours after FiF start time). Also, I’ll be live-streaming my flights on Twitch.
For comms, I’ll be on the Flugpark Discord, to better coordinate with the other German forces. As a backup, I will also have JG1 Teamspeak open for cross comms if needed.

Lipfert reacted to Britchot in MSFS 2020
a great source of mods and liveries: https://flightsim.to/
I usually fly GA aircraft and have the Black Square analog Caravan and Blackbird Sims Pilatus PC-6 which I fly all around Papua New Guinea with an online “career builder”. Also have the Got Friends Wilga and //42 FreedomFox/Fox2 for bush flying all over.
I found the similar aircraft included in the sim to not fully have functional switches/systems, so I opted for similar models.

Lipfert reacted to TedsOnMeds in MSFS 2020
So once everybody's all setup, maybe we can coordinate some similar types/routings of aircraft and do "virtual fly-ins" to specific locations, maybe? Doing some loose non official low maintenance flying events in a civ sim seems like an awesome way to have a chat night when we're not working on combat related stuff!

Yes, HD space. My install uses 350 GB.
I have the Premium Deluxe version and Reno Air Races along with all the World Updates.
I connect my iPad's FltPlan Go app over Wi-Fi for moving maps.
The pms50 Garmin mods for GTN750 and GNS530.
AuthentiKit Tuning App with vjoy to get the trim wheel functioning on my Honeycomb Quadrant.
Then 11 addon aircraft I purchased, mostly GA singles plus 3 freeware gliders.
I'm currently checking out the Eastern US mountain ridge system in game where a bunch of glider record distance flights were made. It's a shame Tom Knauff retired and sold Ridge Soaring Glider Port last year. It's going to become a horse farm, although it's still in the game (79N). Took my Schweizer 1-26 there once, but the ridge wasn't working that week.

Lipfert reacted to Mouce in Opencomposite (OpenXR) Launcher / Runtime Switcher
After talking to some of the NA pilots last night I realized that some of them were unaware that there is an Opencomposite (OpenXR) Launcher/Runtime Switcher. It will allow you to quickly swap between openXR and SteamVR, should you wish to do so. I have some vr games and applications that aren't compatible with OpenXR, so I actually tend to use it frequently.
A bonus feature is that it will check for updates to OpenComposite and allow you to update with a single button click.
The direct link is: https://znix.xyz/OpenComposite/runtimeswitcher.php?branch=openxr
I understand that it looks like a shady link, however it comes from the OpenXR-Toolkit github page:
https://mbucchia.github.io/OpenXR-Toolkit/opencomposite
Search for "launcher", and it will direct you to the link I've provided.
I hope this will simplify life for some of you!
