It depends. The bulk email I send out when announcing news updates only goes to the registered pilots who have agreed to receive emails from the JG1 forum. When they registered to the forums, it's a setting you can switch on or off. If they chose not to receive bulk emails from the JG1 forum, I try and respect their wishes. But... it means that they're not going to get the information when I send it. And thus, may miss things. It's one of the reason I ask people to spread the word, and let me know if someone didn't get the email, but wants to.

FiF - Flying Circus planeset round?
Klaiber replied to J2_Trupobaw's topic in FIF General Discussion
I posted over there, but no interest so far. https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/36426-rof-fif-2018-spring-campaign-is-starting/ Hopefully, we'll get some pilots that way. -
Yup, you're all set.

Yeah, the scale of the bombing is lost on you until you can see it on a map. If you use the drop down menu to look at the first night of the Blitz, it's crazy. Have you guys ever seen Blitz Street? It's a BBC show regarding the Blitz and what the bombs did to London. It's very good.

FiF - Flying Circus planeset round?

That's a good point. Maybe we can swing back to 1917 in the Fall. -
FiF - Flying Circus planeset round?
Klaiber replied to J2_Trupobaw's topic in FIF General Discussion
Hi Adler, You're correct. I think the original idea was to do 1916, then 1917 and then 1918 in sequential order. However, after the Flying Circus plane-set was suggested for the Spring Campaign, it was too good of an idea to not use. We hope that it will get everyone excited for the new game. And, because many of the aircraft are free in ROF, it may get some BoX players interested in giving FIF a chance. So, I guess the better way to look at things is that the Winter Campaign (January to March) represented campaigns that we've played in the past. And that the Spring Campaign (May to July) will represent campaigns that we could play in the future. -

You can get Photoshop CS2 here: http://www.redmondpie.com/download-adobe-photoshop-cs2-for-free-legally-while-you-still-can/ However, it doesn't work very well with Win10. And, this link for CS2 is designed to be used as replacement software for people who had previously purchased CS2, but can't get it to load properly. Thus, use at your own discretion. GIMP or paint is probably a better way to go.

Great version. She looks so healthy there. It's still hard to believe that she's gone.

Advice when changing call sign "Profile" in ROF ?
Klaiber replied to Sturtz's topic in Technical Support
Hi Sturtz, I'm glad you posted this. Someone may have a better answer than what I gave you over email. As I said there, there is no way to rename a profile in ROF. However, I think you might be able to copy over your profile controls and such, and share them between profiles. I'm hoping someone here might have some more information. -
Currently on my MP3 player. The Graviators, who unfortunately broke up / went on hiatus in 2016: And the new Ghost track, Rats. Can't wait to see them live again:

Yeah, I just heard. Really sad to hear this.

For Richthofen, we generally go with our Jasta color, plus a second color of the pilot’s choosing. Though, this is a pretty fluid thing, and you’ll see a lot of variation. We also select an emblem or pattern that can identify us. We also recommend that people consider the need to identify people from a distance. Thus, big markings are better than small intricate ones. And, we try to get them into the ballpark of pseudo-historical. They don’t have to be perfect, but we try and avoid the NASCAR look. Finally, all skins should be approved by the Stofl (Richthofen HQ). Hope this helps!

It’ll definitely come in time.

Hi Sturtz, I would think about what you'd like on your personal skins. What colors and emblem you'd like to use. Flying Circus is around the corner, and we'll be able to create new paint schemes for that. Regarding the ROF skin packs, there is no way to take what you want and leave the rest. So you'll need to download and install the official skin pack (1.033) which is 3.21 GB. And then you'll want to download all of the historical skins (vols. 1 through 19). And then all of the fictitious skins (vols. 1 through 19). That way, you'll see all of JG1s skins. BUT... you'll also see the skins of the squadrons that we fly with and against. Hope this helps!

Looking forward to this map! -
Hope things are going well with everything!

You'll have to let me know if it helps. If it does, I'll probably be making the same type of purchase.

It's been fixed. Disregard.
