  1. Engine Failure at 6,000 feet Engine Failure at 6,000 feet https://youtu.be/y7neHLr9d5M I was on the 352ndVFG Great Battles Dogfight Server and I had an engine out failure while attacking a bogey. This engine out failure forced me to attempt a dead stick landing at a nearby friendly airfield that was under an artillery barrage. Wheels

  3. That meme reminded me of this Lee Majors, Burgess Meredith made for TV movie. The Last Chase: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082642 Pretty cheesy flick but I remember liking it when I saw it as a teenager. Wheels
  4. Smokey and the Bandit https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076729/ Still a fun little trip down nostalgia lane. The first time I saw it was in the theater before I was even 13. Mom messed up. Do not remember why Dad or my sister were not with us but it was just her and me that day?? Wheels

  8. I know of the story but I am not well versed in the subject matter so I can not say how accurately it reflects the events told in the movie. From what I read in the WIki article they do seem to do a pretty decent job telling the story. Another thing I will say is that it is a cerebral movie without action sequences to push the story along. I am not certain anyone under thirty-five will have the patience to sit through what can seem to be a boring movie since it starts with Winton as an old man and most of the story is told via flashback sequences. The subject matter makes it darn near impossible to find the correct terms to use to describe it in a respectful manner but I would recommend seeing the film. Wheels

It is not a stationary vehicle like the one in the background. The truck in the foreground is a moving vehicle that I spent way more than just a few minutes tweaking the last two waypoints over and over to actually get that truck to back into that spot under the camouflage nets consistently. One of my biggest irritations with the FMB is that trains can not be made to back up. Wheels

  16. I saw Dune: Part 2 on Sunday March 03, 2024. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15239678/ I did not see the original Dune nor have I read any of the books so I was not sure how much I would enjoy the movie. (Friend wanted to go who was a big Dune fanatic and I did not let them know that information before we went.) Another thing I did not know going in was that the movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes long without an intermission as is the case with several movies of that length. As for a review I found it to be an entertaining movie and I did not notice the time the movie ran until I got outside heading to my car and saw 3 hours had passed. That alone tells me the movie was good enough to keep me interested for that length of time since I did not leave to go to the bathroom or back to the concession stand because I was bored or uninterested in the story. 20. Fairly certain that Infantry Objects are only in Mod builds. I know that HSFX has Infantry Objects since I just looked in my HSFX 7.03 build but I do not know which other mod packs have Infantry included. I had a 2TB hard drive crash about 11 months ago that took out all my IL-2 files which also included my other game builds, modded and stock, so I am unable to confirm anything else. From memory I do not remember Infantry being part of any of the stock Daidalos Team builds up to v413.4 though. I also do not see any mention of Infantry Objects in the v4.14 or v4.15 announcement threads. v4.14 released: http://forum.fulqrumpublishing.com/showthread.php?t=230290 v4.15 released: http://forum.fulqrumpublishing.com/showthread.php?t=230741 Wheels
  21. Amelia Earhart’s Long-Lost Plane Discovered On Auxiliary Runway At LaGuardia NEW YORK—Calling the breakthrough a major step forward in the enigmatic case of the aviator’s disappearance, experts announced Tuesday they had discovered Amelia Earhart’s long-lost Lockheed 10-E Electra plane on an auxiliary runway at LaGuardia Airport. “Based on our analysis, it appears that during Earhart’s attempt to circumnavigate the globe, she continued past Howland Island, crossed over the Pacific Ocean, and then landed in Queens, New York,” said aeronautics expert Nick Dalton, who reportedly used advanced satellite imagery to find Earhart’s twin-engined, all-metal monoplane in a side lot just off LaGuardia’s main runway. “It wasn’t under a tarp or anything. We’d just never thought to check there. In our defense, there was a Southwest plane parked in front of it blocking the view.” Dalton also confirmed that the pilot had pinned a note to her plane’s windshield with a forwarding address in the Bronx. https://www.theonion.com/amelia-earhart-s-long-lost-plane-discovered-on-auxiliar-1851221366 Wheels
