Salute to our Blue team adversaries on their victory and to my Red team teammates for some amazing flights! Regardless of side, I’m sure we’d all agree that we couldn’t ask for better friends/fellow enthusiasts. 😊

Congrats to Blue Team for their Phase A Victory!
Well done.

For Phase B We advance the plane set and swap back to Blue team Central, Red team Entente.

@Klaiber
Our ROF-Marketing programm regarding new participators in FIF and new pilots in ROF works pretty well this time 😄 That's why I'd like to ask you to add more players to us if it's still possible.
Protoss =2ndSS=JOCKER =2ndss=ALEX All of them wish to take part in the FIF as gunners at the moment.

Salute to the Flight Sim Community.
Normally we would be offering Flanders in Flames Spring Campaign. Unfortunately we are not going forward with FiF at this time. The recent changes to the DM have created a huge disparity in plane survivability.
We have made a commitment to FC as being the next generation WW I flight sim but do not want to put forward an event based on a sim with obvious problems. The developers are aware of the situation and are actively seeking a solution to the DM problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. At that time we will re-evaluate.
Thank you for your support and understanding.

FIF is going in new sim, some will gone, some will come. Its too early to have a decision about it. But i can say exactly the we have to use ROF core in FIF.

True blue to the end. Better dead than Red.

We had some glitches in session 2.

Many of the European players had Discos. No idea what was up there unless some internet node was overloaded or attacked.

Blue team had a glitch with the Recon program. They had correct load out but no camera icon. They successfully took pics of the HQ and the Strategic recon and made it safe back to base. Blue team will have 2 points added to the displayed score at the end of the session.

Good job by all.

For session 3, All times are changed over so we go back to the usual times.   We really need to get rid of Daylight Savings Time.

The FIF 2018 "Spring Campaign" has officially come to an end!

After 8-weeks of bloody fighting, both the Blue and Red teams have managed to win one Phase of play within the 2018 Spring Campaign.

As a result, the Spring Campaign for Flanders In Flames has now ended in stalemate!

Stalemate may not seem exciting, but from a tournament perspective it really is.

Not only does this tie show just how evenly matched both sides were, but it is a testament to the dedication and determination of both the Blues and the Reds.  Week after week, you all have brought your best to the field of battle.  And for me, it was thrilling to watch the scores and stats, knowing that 7 days later, everyone was going to try and outdo themselves.  During our Summer hiatus, I'm going to miss this.

I'm very proud to be apart of this tournament, and am happy that it has helped bring the Rise of Flight community together.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all again in the Fall, after Jasta 5's Black September.

Let us lift our glasses filled with our favorite libations and toast our virtual opponents.  Prost!  Salut!

To celebrate the conclusion of the Spring Campaign, here is the FIF campaign ribbon.

Blue for the Blue Team.  Red for the Red Team.  And light blue to signify the temporary ending of virtual hostilities.

And as always, thank you to every pilot who flew!

Without your continued support, this tournament would not be able to function!

I fully agree and would like to add one important thing. People are consrevative in own tastes. And it is almost impossible to change it. I can give an easy example. Some time ago i personally invited some ROF squads to our BOS project. Nobody comes. Why ? I think all they have own day and time when they have free time for flying together, they do not change own habit. DCS got new exciting version 2.5, if i will invite your team on event, will somebody come ? I am sure not.

The free version is limited to 720p exporting and the paid versions have some extra gadgets. I used the free version to make my YT videos.
