Klaiber

JG1 was founded in March 1992, as I understand it, about a month after the Wing Walkers. https://jg1.org/richthofen/history/ This means that both squadrons are turning 30 this year! We're looking to do something special for both groups, most visibly within Flying Circus, IL-2: Great Battles, and DCS World. We also want to reconnect with people! If you are a former member of JG1 or the Wing Walkers or just someone from the "old days" who flew with/against us, post below and let us know you're around. As more details are published about planned events, we'll make sure you're kept in the loop. Also, if anyone has any ideas about what type of events or virtual get-togethers we could do, we'd love to hear your thoughts!

I am going to fly DCS tonight at 9 PM EST. I'll be on TS.

Oh, sorry... Not WW2. Just got excited.

Perhaps?

The SM-30 was the Zero-length launch (ZeLL) version with PRD-22R short-duration burn booster rocket.

Yeah, it's sad as we were just there.

Just to get people excited: Yes, they did ski launch MiG-19s. And yes, that is the most dangerous/badass thing ever.

I just hope that it's implemented in both single player and multiplayer.

All, I'll be flying DCS tonight at 9 PM EST. Probably MiGs. If anyone is interested in joining, I'll see you on TeamSpeak.

I love how the IL-2 did the Cobra.

No mods on needed. You just need to place the fifk folder in Multiplayer\Dogfight\

Just going to put this here:

I might be around in an hour and a half. I'll look for you.

That was very nicely done. Really makes me wish we had more 1960s/1970s content.

They look great Von!

I've redownloaded it and will replace what you sent me before.

This is good info!

I wish you could remove tracer rounds like you can in CloD and DCS.

Very interesting!

I wouldn't be suprised. There is currently a sound bug with the -21, but also a hydraulic bleed. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/290045-what-after-trimming-i-hit-the-ground/?do=findComment&comment=4859920

Was a lot of fun today! Sorry I had to take off early.

Hi Klieg, I checked the boards, and this was the recommendation: If that doesn't work, you'll have to post the logs. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/258045-dcs-crash-total-game-freeze/?do=findComment&comment=4536321

That’s amazing!

https://leatherneck-sim.com/2022/01/06/2022-new-years-update/ Some great update information on the F-4U-1D Corsair, the Essex Class carrier, the F-8J Crusader, and a promise to keep working on the MiG-21bis and Christen Eagle II.
