  1. S! All, The following JG-I pilots are being recognized for their actions during the Red Flag Rumble event (flown on 28 September 2019 on the 104th Dedicated server). Congratulations! . . . 2. Moved to the discussion area. Regarding your Oeaus number @AngryGoat, you were reassigned Yellow 12 due to gaps in wingmen. https://oesau.jg1.org/roster/#6-staffel If you have a specific love for Yellow 22, I can see what I can do about moving you around. However, it would be great to keep you as Kliegmann's wingman, as Vikner is not as active right now.
  3. It was a great engagement. A big payoff after a lot of work. The big thing that I got out of this was that the AWACS called Merged about five seconds before we actually merged with the bandit. This is good info, as I had assumed that a merged call meant that we had already passed the bandit. Hence, my hard left turn as he goes over my head. Additionally, if people want to create their own saved loadouts, that work on any server that gives you ordinance freedom, go to the mission editor. Go into a MiG-21bis. And look at the ordinance tab. There, on the bottom left, you can create a load out and save it. I've know that forever, but realized last night that other people may not.
  4. @Luftritter and @Butzzell, I moved your posts.
  5. Sorry about that @HotleadColdfeet. I should have tagged you when I moved it.
  6. Pilots interested in flying IL-2 tonight should join the scheduled practice and Klieg's campaign. Perhaps another night can be found to practice Kuban navigation.
  7. Saw this band, Stonefield, back in August - 4 sisters from Australia. They opened for King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Honestly, they were really good live.
  8. Awesome, thanks!
  9. Hi @Vonrd, question. The new link is just the posted updates. Does the main link in the first post get modified too?
  10. As Luftritter says, go with a mount. If you check out my photo, you'll see that I have two MonsterTech mounts that work great on a non-standard desk. They should work for you too. Best thing - they're removable and don't damage anything.
  11. It look a lot of negotiation, trying to convince them that they wanted to be in the beds, but it works. In the above picture, my co-pilot (Stoli) is on the left. My navigator (Jinxy) is usually on the right, but was on shore leave when this picture was taken. Here's another showing the full crew complement.
  12. You’ll have to tell me how you got it right side up. Every time I linked it it was upside down.
  13. Haha! I'm a easter egg. Here's a picture of my set up (avec chat). https://www.dropbox.com/s/73romwih0xqszwd/KlaiberDesktop2.JPG?dl=0

This is really great Vonrd! Awesome work.
  15. This looks great Geezer! Can't wait.
  16. For any interested, here is a great colorized photograph of Jasta 11 Albatros D.IIIs, near Douai, France. Some of the colors may be off. But it's a great taste of what it could have looked like. The unaltered image can be found here. If anyone knows which aircraft belongs to what pilot, let me know. From memory, and with some google-fu: Aircraft #1 is unknown, but may have been Konstantin Krefft (technical officer of Jasta 11). Aircraft #2 is Manfred von Richthofen. Aircraft #3 is probably Karl Allmenroder, based on the red fuselage and white tail elevator. Aircraft #7 (the red band) is Lothar von Richthofen. Past that, I'm not sure.
  17. Thanks Larner! These are great profiles! And great advice too.
  18. Very nice, Hess! Vonrd, Brit and I had a really big discussion about how to paint the Me 262. You can find part of the discussion here: Hopefully this helps give you some inspiration. I'd coordinate with Vonrd.
  19. I'm flying my desk at work. Unfortunately, it's a single player game.
  20. I also created a bar at the top of the JG1 skins area to direct them to the official skin packs.
  21. All moved. This thread has been created as a discussion area for the new skin submission thread. I'll moved stuff here as necessary. Or people can just post here with a link to what they're talking about.
  22. From Hett.
  23. Thanks Hess. Vonrd, here is the direct link: https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=!ADBzrhAKa6Csf2g&id=10522A4BAAA6ACAA!13191&cid=10522A4BAAA6ACAA Did you want to add these to the main pack directly?
