I remember having this problem myself. Try removing the contents of the following folder: \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input Save them somewhere safe, or just rename the folder. input_old. Something like that. That way you can reverse this. This should blank out your controls. And blank out your HOTAS, forcing the game to relocate them. Then start up again. And the axis controls should then work.

What brand of pedals do you use?

Those are perfect, Vonrd! Thank you so much. I love the pink lower wing on the Pfalz. So definitely don't change it. Can't wait to fly in them!

It's interesting to me that the pilot held his salute of the crew chief, during the crew chief's hand off of the aircraft. I would assume that the pilot outranks the crew chief. And that technically, the pilot doesn't have to salute the crew chief. Is this an example of respecting the ground crew, regardless of rank? And if so, is that practice normal in all air forces?

I've heard from Vikner. He and his family are safe. His home and community were protected from the fires by a river and a vineyard (which made it hard for the fire to cross to him). There was serious concern about embers jumping the water line, however. But the fire seems to have burnt out a lot of stuff to the east of him and is moving on. Thankfully, the eastern area doesn't have a lot of structures or people. All in all, he said it was a very stressful week. I've encouraged him to post on the boards to let everyone know that he's okay.

Hi Heinrich, I've already been PMing with you, but for everyone else, I'll post my answers here. I'll let Vonrd handle the brightness and weathering topics. But, for the general questions: You can have multiple skins for the same aircraft. They'll be marked A, B, C, D, etc. Because the Oesau flying 1 is often put on the nose, I'd rather have the tail blank or using the BoX box seen on the stock skins. I hope that doesn't ruin anything for you. Angles for the picture? Whatever you feel best shows the cool features of the skin. Anything you want for a background. The aircraft should be clearly shown, however, as it's the really thing on display. Hope this helps!
