Not from a sim or game. But I thought Col. Ralph Wetterhahn's description of post-Korea / pre-Vietnam fighter training really interesting.

All, Our first FIF Fall Campaign mission has been completed. Hopefully, everyone had a great time and is looking forward to next weekend. I did want to post two rules reminders, however. Please double and triple check your aircraft modifications prior to take-off. Here is a complete list of what is allowed and what is not allowed. Please make sure to wait a FULL FIVE MINUTES before taking off again for another sortie. I know that it's sometimes hard to keep track of how long you're down for, but if you're not sure how much time you have left, please wait longer. Our stated rules, under the "Refly Rules (Friendly Territory and No Man's Land)" section state: If there are any questions on this, please let Butzzell or I know. Thanks all!

JG1 FC Flightline/combat footage
Klaiber replied to 93rd Aero, R.Talbot's topic in JG1 Videos & Screen Caps
I should be at FC Thursday this coming week. I'll try and record some. -
I agree. Nice job!

I'm noticing that there is a bit more information out there now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2019_Boeing_B-17_Flying_Fortress_crash#Accident This is all sourced, so I think that it's accurate. We probably won't know the real cause for a long while.

A more up to date version of the JG 1 Paint Policy for Oesau can be found here: https://oesau.jg1.org/paint-policy/ We'll work on a RIchthofen one, as Vonrd said. But keep the above four points in mind as you work on stuff for WW1:

That's terrible news. I didn't know she passed.

Luft really deserves the praise here.

It's the very least I can do. After all, you helped me out a lot. And I want to make sure you get back in the air ASAP to harass the enemy.

@AngryGoat Hi Goat, I was looking through your skins and had some suggestions. On your Albatros, since you're now in Jasta 11, how about painting the boss of the propeller red, while keeping the cowling yellow. Or paint the whole cowling red and leave the back end yellow. Same thing on the Fokker D.VII. On your D.VIIF, it should really have your Jasta color somewhere on it. And same with the Pfalz. Thanks!
