  2. Gratulations Guys, nice decoration set we see here ;-) ...and well deserved by everyone!
  3. Hey Hotlead, that's are really sad news (for us at least) and it doubles my pain that I missed yesterdays session in FiF as the last Chance to fly with you for long time at least. However: Every flight I had with or against you was pure fun and pleasure. You were not only a big asset of JG1 but for the RoF comunity in general, last but not least because of your twitch stream. Wish you all the best for every step you take in your future life and hope that somewhen and somewhere we will meet in again in virtual skies….. Maybe from time to time you'll find some minutes to drop in here for a short "hello" and just to see what's going on in the sim-world Salute Hotlead and thanks for everything you gave to the comunity
  4. I had also issues, thanks Butzz for pointing this out; if I would have detected that tomorrow evening only it would have cost me probably 15 minutes valuable Mission time to sort it all out! As I was warned now I made a screenshot of my graphic config to adjust all settings properly in only 1 Minute and I did also check my Input Settings and the views. For me the key- and button-assignments were not really changed by the update , but I had the issue like sometimes after a RoF-Crash: The Joystick was this time detected as Joy-1, while a control-bindings were set on Joy-0... meanwhile I have the settings saved for both versions, so with a simple load of the correct input-file this was also an easy fix. My center views as far as I checked (in Halb, DFW, VII and VIIF) had no issue Many thanks again for the hint, really very appreciated!

  10. Welcome Mölders
  11. Ah, thx for clarification....
  12. Welcome Ginger, happy to see some europeans dropping in here!! ...btw.: did not know that JG1 is on facebook ..!?
  13. Yes, it's to France (a great song).... And first song is partly using a medieval dance composition named "Saltorello"
  14. hmm.... don't know what this word should be, maybe you heard "Abschuss" which means either "The launch" (of a rocket) or "The Kill" (of an enemy plane)....
  15. @Smolders: If you are also available during your daytimes you might find some of us european players online to fly in BoX. Well, I am not the one who can learn you anything beside the basics there, but others are much more experienced and so far every JG1-member I flew together with always was willing and happy to support me in every aspect (no matter if in BoX or in RoF, also at times before I was a member of this squad) ...well, during the last weeks my online appearence was rather reduced because of vacation and various real life stuff, but I hope there will be (at least a little) more time available soon...
  16. If allies have Camels, the centrals need DrIs, otherwise there will be shitstorms
  17. Great Job, Gratulations! That Knights Cross is very pretty
  18. I did read every book out of this series (except the very last one). The books give a phantastic picture of the situation and the atmosphere of Berln at the late 20ies and early 30ies; there is this disturbing antagonism between the glamorous party life of the upper class on the one side the large number of working poors and the extreme poorness on the other side; and there are those ongoing political fights between the far left and far right movements which represent a permanent thread to the relatively young democracy which is by far not as stable in it's existence as it is today.... The detective stories in each book are also quite Ok and interesting to follow (with some surprises), they include also interesting characters (esp. the main figure Gereon Rath) but the real reason why I am such a fan of these books is the setting in Berlin in exact this historical background... About the TV series I did read some articles so far, but as I am no pay tv user (no netflix, amazon prime, etc.) I will have to wait until end of this year when it comes to free TV. What I did read so far is, that basically they follow the story of the first book but used the format to sharpen or even oversubscribe some of the main characters...... Anyhow: I am looking forward to see it
