So for Central and Western Europe Players the only possible issue can be on November the 3rd, where our relative mission start time is 1 hour earlier... Thx 4 clarification

That's an important point, to avoid any confusion: Our time change takes place in the Night from Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th, meaning (at least for central and western europe): When the Mission starts, we have still UTC +2 time.... Question: On which date will the change from EDT to EST be?

That's great news!! This solution you found looks like a good trade-off and even if we won't meet too often in this setting, it's anyhow good to know you will be active again.... And I am confident that sooner or later there also will come the chances to fly together again...

basically good idea as I could use some training in russion planes for sure.... Only thing is: I don't like the idea of changing teams during a running campaign. So I would prefer to start directly on russian side... Just in the case if russian progress on the map would be too fast we should switch to german side and try to expand the duration of that map by winning back some territorries we had won before.... Planning to be online tonight, somewhen around 8 p.m. UTC Btw.: Is it meanwhile possible again to set up Squads at Coconut?

Diamond airplanes are great !!! ...well, the only diamond product I flew so far was as a co-pilot on a super-dimona long long time ago. And after that 10 minutes of flying actively in the air I cannot tell a lot about its behaviour but there are 2 important facts that makes them great planes: 1st: They have pilot sticks instead of control wheels 2nd: They are austrian products which makes them great per definition The airfield where I learned flying on my families motor glider was located directly next to that airfield where Diamond has it's HQ

Thats an absolute relevant point and, together with the fact that I anyhow want to support the further development of FC, one of the main reasons why I will for sure purchase the early access version... (what I did never before so far) ....even if I probably will not even use it for more then 1 or 2 testflights with each plane during the next months....

Hi and thanks, that helps not only a bit, but a lot Because it shows me, that an investment of about 300 € for sure makes sense when it helps getting a lot more out of BoX or (at least as important) out of FC.... ...and maybe in next few weeks the prices of last generations of GPUs (like 1060ies series) will decrease even a little bid more ... Just hope that the blue-screen-issues are really connected to actual GPU or any other easy replaceable component!

Hi Pragr, sorry to hear about the issues, but for me this a very interesting Posting as it seems I will run into similar situation sooner or later: My PC is „only“ 4 years old and I have an GTX 660 Ti too. So far I still can play BoX but right now when I am flying the sound of some coolers (probably the GPU ones) telling me clearly that the system is at it’s absolute limits. On more populated servers I recognice also stutters in the graphics and beside this in the last weeks I had 3 or 4 Blue-Screen-Crashes of my PC, that happened always some time after I have played when I did only some internet-surfing or mail writing or things like that…. So I am asking myself all the time: Shall I use my PC as long as it completely dies and invest then directly in a new complete system Or Should I go the approach of replacing component by component, starting with a new GPU? I was affraid that the component-approach bears 2 major risks: 1st: The other (old) components are limiting the overall system in a way that the potential of the new GPU will not come to full effect 2nd: The latest issues with the PC are connected to any other system component, so I might invest in a new GPU and then it turns out, that the CPU, the mother board or any other core componen is f*cked up and in the worst case I need anyhow a new system…. But how I read your posting it sounds to me that at least the 1st risk seems to be obsolete and also an older system will benefit from a new graphic card => thats good news to me :-D So have fun with your GTX 1060 and please keep me update to date on your experience with it! Maybe in summer we now will find time again for some joint operations on Coconut or TAW on CET evenings… ;-) Salute Etzel

Finally one add, as I just did read the announcement in detail and compared those screenshots of FC with the ones out of RoF: These improved graphic engine for me is the most unimportant benefit of FC; in my opinion those additional detail level is nice to have but not more... But this should not be understood as depreciation of FC but as a reminder on what exceptional work they did on RoF, that was released meanwhile already 9 (!!) years ago… So even if FC will not be more than a polished RoF with the VR posibility I am absolutly willing to pay the full price for this work, just to keep this project alive and hope to get soem day the full scope of RoF back again (maybe even some new features, like e.g. points for Recon Missions in the statistics*g*).
