Well, finally saw the movie yesterday with my wife, before it's not playing in cinemas aynmore.... (we really were the only 2 people sitting in this movie hall), and well, what should I say => The expectations I had 3 years ago: ...were completely fullfilled! It's basically the same story, you can find the same characters, it's the same great music, and really all of this was just reworked & remastered to meet the standards 3 decades later... Simply great entertainment, glad that I did not miss it

....and that's exactly what I want to avoid... Point is: TS and Discord are/were both always the standard-comm-tools that we never used separately. I have both of them on the same PTT-Button and to be honest, I am reluctant to change that approach, simply because 1st I am affraid that it will need to much of my brain capacity to learn something new here after years I flex with exactly that system. For SRS I mapped a different button from the very beginning and used to it... And 2nd: If you ask me => SRS is the perfect tool for cross-coms, simply because of the integration with the flight sims and the 2-readio-feature as well as the feature of very easy channel switching out of the game... Anyhow, that's not the thread to discuss this, I think somewhere in the forum some months ago a thread on that topic was already started; will try to find it and post my thoughts there... For tonight looking forward to fly with you again

Hi, probably gonna join u! Q: As flugpark doesn't have a SRS server => Do we meanwhile have a JG1 SRS server to which we could manually connect and that we could use for crosscoms in case we would be too many for 1 discord channel? (Well, might be a very optimistic question... but who knows )

I guess that will be on the J5 server? Chances are good that I also jump into a WW1 again tonight, allthough my time will be rather 1930~2000 GMT.... Q: As some of the european guys have issues with teamspeak we rather use Discord. I like the idea of using SRS for cross-coms, but J5 server doesn't have a SRS server (as far as I know). => So do we meanwhile have an JG1 SRS server we could connect to and we could use for comms between flights?

FYI: Greif and me will be online in ~30 minutes for some WW2 flying. We will be in the Discord Guest Channels at around 1500 UTC. (And if it makes a difference: Cannot speak for Greif, but I think we both are fine with WW1 too, if than some people would rather join in that case)

Hi Geezer, thanks a lot for providing those servers to the WingWalkers! => We used the WW2 server for our EU training session yesterday and it was huge fun! Only one point for optimization: We flew the fictional US vs USSR scenario on the kuban map which was a very interesting setting. In the end it became really challenging for us to end the training as we were continiously attacked from enemies spawning in directly next to our home base ... that became a little bid too much at then end. I think what would be helpful is to set a timer of maybe 5 Minutes before new enemy AIs spawning in after one wave was eliminated? Don't know if this is possible... We look forward to many more flights on your servers in future Salute Etzel

Well, my experience is very basic, the only films I produced so far was the one with my dughter landing and that one from the last TiF-Session: ...and for those I used the Windows Movie Maker. Although Windows warns that this tool is not included in Windows 10 I had no problem finding a free version of it. !st I simply used the Windows Screen Recording Utility (Windows+G) and the parts I combined with the Movie Maker. For my use it was good enough and usage is really pretty simple to learn, did not need any tutorial...
