Couldn't quite make out all of the lyrics, so looked them up.

[Version 1]
Wake up, son of mine
Momma got something to tell you
Changes come
Life will have its way
With your pride, son
Take it like a man

[Pre-Chorus]
Hang on, son of mine
A storm is blowing up your horizon

[Chorus]
Changes come
Keep your dignity
Take the high road
Take it like a man

[Verse 2]
Listen up, son of mine
Momma got something to tell you
All about growing pains
Life will pound away
Where the light don't shine, son

Take it like a man
Suck it up, son of mine
Thunder blowing up your horizon

[Chorus]

Changes come (Changes come)
Keep your dignity (Keep your dignity)
Take the high road (Take the high road)
Take it like a man (Take it like a man)

[Outro]
Momma said like the rain (This, too, shall pass)
Like a kidney stone (This, too, shall pass)
It's just a broken heart, son
This pain will pass away

I liked it.

This is probably just an old white guy's S*#t but I like this... especially the last one - Futuristic & Devvon Terrell. Don't think I'd really call it Rap though...

Are you more of a Fragile person?  Or more Close to the Edge?

Me, I've been listening to a lot of King Crimson recently.  I'd post some, but youtube is ruthless about copyright and KC.

I'm a Fragile guy. :D  In the late 90's I had a very best of Yes which didn't have the Fish on it. Later listening to the local radio station I heard Long Distance Run Around/The Fish. I had to have them together so I picked it up.

For ProgRock Rush is in a category on their own.  Yes,ELP and KC in another category. With KC having members from both Yes and ELP, that similarity can't be helped.

Ran across this live version on Long Distance Run Around/Fish Yesterday. It has an unusual time signature from the studio version and a different instrumental to the Fish. I'm sure you have ran into it but if not here it is.

That's a really nice live version!  I love how they play with the song structure.  I've actually never heard that version before.

Yeah, KC is really a revolving door of members.  I have the first seven albums, from Court to Red.  I've never listened to Discipline, their 1981 album.  I've heard it's good.

Honestly, regarding King Crimson, I always loved Peter Sinfield's lyrics.  So I find it a bit of a bummer that he left the group 1972.  I feel the same way about Greg Lake.  The first two KC albums are just so good with his voice on them.

Back to Yes - my favorite Yes album is probably 90215.  I know that's sacrilege, but it's the first album of theirs that I heard as a kid and its the one that I developed the strongest attachment to.

That said, Fragile is another favorite.

S!  Sorry no link.

There is a new tv show The Mayans.  Motorcycle gang thingie.  The theme song is "Paint it black" sung in Spanish.  I don't know why but I love it.

Yeah, this is a sequel to Sons of Anarchy. Actually a pretty good show, but I got a bit tired of Charlie Hunman... Katie Sagal was Great though!
