J5_Gamecock Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 For those of you that like,(what I call), bro country/southern rock, you might want to give these guys a listen. They're pretty good, and the drummer is none other than J2_Adam. Sturtz and J5_Hotlead 2 Quote
J5_Hotlead Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 I like that one a lot! Thanks for sharing! Was neat to see Adam - he's really good on those drums! J5_Gamecock 1 Quote
-Hawkeye- Posted April 3, 2018 Report Posted April 3, 2018 Wow, Dark Horse and company....I don't usually comment on these threads....but to see J2_Adam, one of our community....I gotta say I'm totally impressed. There is nothing I hold in higher regard, than the ability to make sweet music....which is, IMHO, one of the few saving graces of our species. S! Adam and Dark Horse! Vonrd Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 I'm not sure about the sexual allusions in this clip... but what really struck me is the sense of being on the front of hearing this for the FIRST time... a musical sequence that is embedded in our collective conciseness... I doubt that there is anywhere on this world that can't whistle the tune. Wilhelm_Reinhard 1 Quote
Wilhelm_Reinhard Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 Ragnar, Lagertha and Floki... Wow… I was suddenly 40 years younger and 2000 years older at the same time. The rhythmic beats, the pieces and parts of animals everywhere, the harmonious voices of women singing – Quick, somebody, hide my ax and my shield and my car keys and lock me in a closet, before I go out and get myself hurt! I was half-way to Valhalla, until those guys started chanting in their mechanical bullfrog voices and triggered my “What the *#@! are they saying/singing!?†disability, and brought me right back to the present. If they had left that bit out, who knows what would have happened. Quote
Wilhelm_Reinhard Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 I'm not sure about the sexual allusions in this clip... They may inform, but they do not define. Quote
Kliegmann Posted April 23, 2018 Report Posted April 23, 2018 Ragnar, Lagertha and Floki... The Runes are Laguz, Isa, Fehu, Ansuz. Which means, Water, Ice, Wealth and God, or if taken from a letter standpoint means LIFA Quote
