JG1 Videos & Screen Caps

Since we already have designated threads for posting videos, book reviews and other things, I figured it'd be worthwhile to start one for historical pictures. Here's one I found today, it's a remastered photograph taken in 1991 at Babimost, Poland. Tactical 'staches galore!

Another Youtube series presented as an FYI:

For everyone loving the DCS Mossie: The synopsis of the film from IMDB:

He was an instructor at Navy Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape [SERE] training when I when went through that training in 83. He was my interrogator at one of the late night sessions. He taught me many valuable lessons, after the training I got to sit down and talk to him. He could still recite the names and data of his fellow prisoners 11 years later. Amazing!!

Finally I found the time to create a vid of my recording of the 2nd successfull landing of my daughter (The 1st save touch down happened pretty suprising, so I did not film it, but the 2nd one I did record.) 😉 It was already more than 3 months ago, few days before her 5th birthday, but was too busy in last months to create and upload it: She really had exclusive control over the Joystick and the throttle and acting on my instructions, while had rudder and view control.

1 v 1 against an F5 1st engagement he went below hard deck, maneuver kill 2nd guns guns guns Probably not the way to do it, but then my BFM needs work hence this campaign TACVIEW Flight back to Nellis:

Hi Guys, from my game recordings of the last TiF I created now my first (longer) film: Well, I used the free movie maker app, have no experience in film creation at all, no wonder it's pretty amateurish.... Nevertheless I hope it gives some impression of the action we had there 😉 Salute Etzel

S! Guys! The end of that mission was a disasters for me, but the start was pretty nice. It was a training mission at CB server.

https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/40260-30th-fighter-squadron-cinematic-series-lelv30/ Did some voice acting for a video project (“The Tiger”) LeLv30_Redwing put together and I like the way it turned out. Going to redo the first video he did before he had (such amazing) voice actors. So stay tuned for more!

There's a MIGHTY teaser right at the end, though I'm not going to spoil it for you just yet. Why do I hear "Money" by Pink Floyd? 🤔

Salutations squadron! This is what I managed to get from when we rolled all 8 of the squadron pilots in a line a week or two ago on Combat Box! Sorry if my view isn't too spectacular!

BernTeas, After we discussed DCS and the Bf 109 K-4 last night, I jumped in and did a quick stream of "The Channel" map and getting the Kurfurst airborne. Keep an eye on the control display during the take off roll. Kurfurst Startup S!

First I have a period video that was done less than ten years after the battle. Part One of a Naval Training film from 1950 based upon the 1948 document "NAVPERS 91067, The Battle of Midway Including the Aleutian Phase, June 3 to June 14, 1942: Strategical and Tactical Analysis by Richard W Bates" (later Rear Admiral Bates) at the Naval War college. I have never been able to find part two of this training film. Warning!! Period prejudices towards the Japanese are still very much evident in this 1950 program.
