Looks good Chewie! Might I suggest that you carry the Horizontal stab stripes and maybe the yellow Rudder / Vert stab through all of your planes. That way, you are instantly recognizable by any JG1s in the vicinity that see you. The "CC" is only visible from the side. Recognition is really the primary benefit and purpose for personal skins.

Note, I changed the name of the skins to: v_!_JG1_PfalzD3a_Chewie.dds

So, no space between Pfalz and D3a.  It will go into the pack that way.

Also, I'll be posting a new skin pack this weekend.  If you have anything else in the pipeline, let me know.  I can hold off until Sunday night.

I've made an alternate to the default Sopwith Triplane prototype skin which doesn't correctly represent the actual plane IMO.

 

Unique features...

Engine turned aluminum application to cowling 

Upper wing cutout 

Glossy fabric and lightened color of fabric (it would have been basically white or very slightly beige since it was Irish linen with clear nitrate dope).

 

I'm pleased with the results and hopefully haven't offended whoever made the default skin.

Please include ideas and whether you want glossy finish or flat / semi gloss.

My research has shown that many of the WW1 aircraft were actually glossy though they would get duller eventually through oxidation and eventually paint was applied duller from the factory. This is contrary to what I had believed. I thought all were originally flat finishes from the start.
