Perusing stuff for Paddy's day (yeah, I'm a day late and these guys are from Quincy, MA but it's got the flavor): and this:

I thought this was sweet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fj6r3-sQr58

For some reason "the uploader has not mad this available in your country" EDIT: Never mind, just saw Klai's post about it above. "Winter is Coming:

Got it. Sorry to hear of the jerks.

Klai, Thanks for starting this thread! It's encouraged me to explore the myriad of content available online in this day and age. I'm impressed by the scope of interests noted here by my fellows in JG1! There's not a single "run of the mill... top 40" post in here. Kudos to all posting. Makes me realize what a treasure we have in our little slice of life that's JG1. Salute!

Bone shorty at 13: just check out the mid part where he blasts: Then this... "this is why we support the arts" ... 'nuff said... "SAD":

We need an emoji for "devil horns"

Totally Millennial... I'm addicted to this show though. This scene made me look up the lyrics which I never really was able to understand. Lots of "Be da dah, Be da da da... etc... http://www.syfy.com/themagicians/videos/under-pressure

Why do you think they call it a "mess"?

Hmm... all I heard was goobity, gabity, flabity... and a trombone...

Heh heh... you'll fit right in. We have the cleanest latrines... you can eat off them

Updated zip: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h67drfo6gk8b9dk/skins.zip?dl=0 I had accidentally put Bf110 skins in some 109 folders... now fixed. Also, most of the prior skins have been renamed... for example: A_Bf109F4 JG1 II Stab XO All skins begin with A_ so that they appear at the top of the list. Also, individual names have been replaced with Squadron specific naming. Unfortunately, this means that if you have previously install skins by me there will be duplicate skins with different names.

Here's a zip file containing all the skins I've created to date: https://www.dropbox.com/s/h67drfo6gk8b9dk/skins.zip?dl=0 Unzip to: C:\Program Files (x86)\1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics Some of the newer ones I haven't done screenshots for since I think it takes away from time actually making skins. All skins are 2k... I resized the 4k ones to reduce space taken up on player's drives. You can't tell the difference except in close-up screenshots. I didn't do Hess's skins... I tried but didn't have enough Dropbox space.

So... prepare to read lots of whining on the FMs. (I think the basis of all the FMs are based on the ROF FMs). Looking at the forum and the announcements it seems that they really are taking pains to research the flight engineering data that is available to code the algorithms for the FMs... the problem is that the data is 70 to over 100 years old and suspect in accuracy to say the least. We'll still get some tool insisting that it's ALL WRONG and insisting that it be changed to represent the TRUE historical reality. What really matters IMHO is playability with relative comparisons to how the planes performance relates to each other. I'm sure it's a delicate balancing act for the Devs and it seems they get way too much grief for their efforts.

Anybody know if the FMs will be teleport-ed over as is? I doubt that they have the time or inclination to do any more tweaks.

Sorry I missed last week but I have a few (well deserved IMO ) days off this week so I should be there.

Not sure if the templates will cross-over from ROF to FC. I'm sure there will be similarities but details might change. Will also probably be able to do 4k skins (more detail). Current ones are 2K I think.

Tom Waits... so cool

It's funny 'cause its true...

Once again, I may be late or even not be able to make it... work sucks but I have to do it .

Here: http://forum.jg1.org/topic/5457-fif-2018-winter-campaign-plane-modifications/

I've been using Requiem's Trackir profile with personal tweaks for years: https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11740 This video is also a fairly good explanation of how it works:

Sorry I was late and had to leave early... heavy work load... too many broken planes.

I might not make it due to F***K**G work this week. Either post pass here or PM to Lipfert. Thanks
