EmerlistDavjack
Klaiber. Banquet. So much skill in that band. Halloween edition...well, not really spooky but they use a lot of organ: Klaiber
Klaiber
Very cool, thanks! It is very different from their first one. I like it!

Vonrd
The organ arpeggio intro is what I practiced over and over... nice cover... This puts it in perspective IRFC Hawkeye, Klaiber and EmerlistDavjack
Klaiber
That Simpson's episode is one of my favorite. I have Iron Butterfly's first three albums - Heavy, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, and Ball. They're all really good. For anyone interested, I highly recommend checking out their deeper cuts. Klaiber
They're really good! They remind me of Jethro Tull, mixed with Nightwish and In Extremo.
EmerlistDavjack
That's pretty great, Pfeil. I'll have to check out dArtagnan. It's too bad that proper metal festivals don't really happen in the USA. I did see Jethro Tull a few years back and I gotta say, Ian Anderson still has it. That guy will be 90 and somehow still playing flute while hopping on one leg like a madman. Here's a band from the 70s Southern USA that I really wish made more albums. Karl Spackler
Baltimore Deathfest (I only recognized 1 band name - Deicide - out of the entire list). Not my genre but it has metal in the name. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/maryland-deathfest-2019-tickets-47140055174 It's too bad that proper metal festivals don't really happen in the USA. Vonrd
Gen Markof turned us on to Sam Perry: Led me to look into looping and beat box...
Vonrd
Part 2: I can see where it can get derivative and annoying (but that goes for ALL music... and on further reflection... ALL artistic / human endeavors for that matter)... still, I am impressed. I was aware of beatbox and looping but never looked into them.
