  1. Heh heh
  2. Clicked on the link and it had a Trump campaign ad as the lead in. I'll refrain from making a comment.
  3. I'll be there and encourage all to attend.
  4. Since Blender went to 2.8 most of the earlier stuff can be pretty confusing since a lot of the shortcuts and tools have been changed. Not to say there might not be good stuff in the earlier tutorials... just be aware that some references can get pretty confusing. From one who's been there and done that.
  5. I've kinda lost track on which skins need to be in the update. If y'all could post what needs to be in it I would be grateful. Luft... I have your recent updates.
  6. Wow... I didn't realize there was that selection in personal weapons (and why it should be in that category... baffling). Glad you got it sussed.
  7. I don't really want to start a new thread. Maybe keep the OP and just delete the rest? I can probably edit the original to just have the (hopefully error free ) full skinpack.
  8. I will try to remember.
  9. Yeah, my screenshots don't see the text either.
  10. Looks like I missed the Entente first page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hlbeuv202825c6z/il-2 sturmovik 2020-02-02 14-36-28.mp4?dl=0
  11. I recorded. I will try to post it.
  12. This has been fixed in (V2)... see original post.
  13. Did you download the main Flying Circus FIF Winter (V2)? They are in there. The Flying Circus FIF Winter Patch(1) is just a patch and doesn't include all the skins. Also, there was a mistake on the main file with a "data" file within the main "data" file. See the original post.
  14. Sound of palm striking forehead... The file has been fixed but probably too late.
  15. Sorry Daedallus, you flew too close to the sun and your skins melted... oops... that was your son Icarus. My condolences for your loss. Your skins are in the Flying Circus FIF Winter Patch(1). Just download that. No need to do the whole thing again.
  16. German aircraft skins with szachownica lotnicza are not in the skinpack. All other 1PL skins included.
  17. Jason posted this in his Briefing Room: Posted January 22 Q. Jason when will you tell us if there will be another Flying Circus? Please? We love it and want more - it's awesome and I have told all my friends to buy it in the Official Webstore! A. No decision has been made yet. Infer from that what you will, but I cannot get into confidential info, my bosses would get quite angry. My desire is to always make more products, I create products, that's what I do. Any new products have to make business sense for not only us, but our partners who share in the work. The concept of FC1 presented an opportunity to take a larger than usual gamble and do an experiment. As we know in Las Vegas, once you lose, gambling again may quickly become throwing good money after bad, not a wise move. Same in business. Asking the community to re-invest in a technically improved WWI sim, but with lesser installed content while our earlier title ROF is still a fun, good-looking sim may have been too much to ask for. But this was the only way to try and make a new WWI anything, going back to work on ROF is simply not an option for the team. It's kind of in the hands of the community at this point. I can add some more non-Career SP content (which I have stated already) and adjust the price when I can, but the question becomes how bad does the community want an FC2 to happen? The only way that it will get a green-light is if FC1 proved there was an appetite for more WWI. And even if we say yes we want it, does our partner want to do it? Do I have the resources to make what the community says they want after FC1? So there are many moving parts to this. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed with the critiques about FC1's content, because there are infinite SP and MP possibilities with the ME, PWCG and Vander's new EMG. Lots of fun to be had regardless of what we put into it. Many say PWCG is better than our Career so I felt it would be less of an issue it apparently is. But everyone is entitled to buy or not buy. I'm just explaining my side of the story. As I said many times, this was my only option to do anything WWI related any time soon, so I went for it and thought a lot of flyers who owned ROF or owned IL-2 would be interested. No matter what happens, I don't regret it, FC turned out very nice and it's fun to fly. Everyone worked hard on FC1, so I hope I can move forward with another one. Time will tell. Please don't ask me when. It could be next week or next year, I really don't know right now. That's all I can say on the matter at the moment and probably more than I should. Jason Maybe sales have not been that good?
  18. I've temporarily removed the patch from Dropbox and working on fixes as noted above. Will be back up in just a bit.
  19. Skinpack is done. Link is in the original post above.

After a couple more weeks of struggle I'm beginning to get a handle on Blender. It's not totally accurate since I was unable to find good blueprints for the gun installation (and figuring out how to model the intricacies of the various individual parts is yet a bit beyond my ken ) but still, I'm pretty pleased with the results and think it will work to give the illusion that I'm looking for. My intent is to do some "art" pieces using BOx screenshots melded with 3D modeling to pay respect to the ground crews with the internals exposed. They (we) don't get the recognition that the pilots normally do. After more tweaks to the guns, the next project is the engine...
  25. We have been discussing 2K vs 4K skins. I had originally decided to do all skins in 2K. 2K size is approximately 1/4 the size of 4K. My reasoning is that I can't tell much (if any) difference between the two at regular view distance in the game... even when fully zoomed in. As the amount of skins increases, I was afraid that the folders would get very large. My current game skin folder is about 23 GB (with several other squads skins included). I would like to hear what others think. In that vein... we are thinking of restricting a maximum of two individual skins per pilot per plane. Again... thoughts?
