S! Wen mission means 9:00 pm Eastern North American time. The Saturday time does not work for a lot of people unfortunately. We have asked about other times such as Sunday but that is even worse.

S! All We are working on the next version of FiF. First and foremost is balancing the teams. It is being worked on and will be set before we begin. When do we begin? Well, after "Black September". Probably the second week in October. The "BS" event s looking good. please check it out. Black September thread FiF XXV will use a progressive plane set starting in late 1916 and go to mid 1917. We will continue with the 2 week Entente , 2 week Central flip flop. This works well with the progressive plane set. The combat sector will be the front between Verdun and St. Mihiel. It took several weeks to find land that could be used for airfields in this region. While the airfields can be used, they are not perfect. Players should check them out for bumps or rough spots. A "test" version of the mission is often running on the JG1 Server. At each of the 2 seater bases is an enemy balloon, Killing that balloon will end the mission and restart the mission over. That way you can have fresh planes and maximum time to test missions. We will post updated info as things are finalized. Map for FiF XXV 2 seater bases are underlined in Yellow

I go to settings, system, apps. That brings up a list of apps Looks like the old list of programs and features BUT it is not a complete list.. Click on an app and it will expand to give you an uninstall option. Sounds easy. If the app has Microsoft in the name, you can not uninstall. It goes to another screen where all you can do is a reset. To get rid of Microsoft apps, you have to go into a C-shell command window in administrator mode. Then you type in or paste in the command to get rid of the app. Each app has a special command. best to look up on google about how to remove a specific Microsoft app.

S! Baron Very interesting. I have a question. If you capture a strong point do you keep it? Do the front lines change next week? From what I read in the rules I was not sure.

There was an overlay program that converted the smart phone app look of win 10 into a stock win 7 look. Naturally it no longer works with the update. The basic internal workings of the computer are now hidden. There is no fully functional control panel access button. "Setting" is really an app availability area. I think this is to keep young people from screwing up their system. Welcome to the future. We are at the mercy of machines created by smart people in the past and have become dependent on the machines. The machine is so complex that we can not understand it? I don't think so. This attempt to herd us like sheep will not go unchallenged !!!

S! Thanks for the heads up. I did the recent update. I had the same black screen on game exit. Unclick full screen did it. I also spent 2 hours removing the new apps. took a while but I got rid of the Xbox crap. They are creeping forward to total control. They want you to buy games, movies and music and place it on your cloud storage area. Eventually you will run out of storage but can increase it for a small fee. The final version is total integration of screens, tablets, phones, watches and automobiles into a completely connected network. These devices will be terminals for your programs and personal items in the cloud. There will be no personal computers. The actual computation will be done in the cloud. no more upgrades, no more video cards. All your devices will merely be terminals.

Hi all, Wanted to announce the formation of the VonRD Butzzell power company. We plan to replace fossil fuel electric power generation with small local geothermal plants. Small size means easier to site, build and maintain. Smaller also means it is less likely to be a target for terrorists. Smaller means if any one goes down, the rest will have the capacity to meet the load. Basic plan is to build 100 units per year for 10 years. After the first 5 years we will have enough revenue to meet the working cash requirements. S! Yes , I have done it as a recovery. The data migration software duplicates your disk. I just have a second hard drive that I unplug. A real hard drive, not an ssd. When I want to back up my existing system, I plug it in, format and data migrate. Recently I had two viruses. All my virus programs were unable to remove them. All the help online was no good. I just went to my back up disk and plugged it in. Un-plugged the primary and booted up. Made this disk the primary boot. Plugged in the original drive, formatted and data migrate. Then make that disk the primary again and unplugged the back up. I used to back up to an external and make a bootable CD. Don't need to do that. The internal is bootable. No problem with bios, no handling file problems. Think of it as a semi parallel raid. Now, remember, I used Marcium reflect not the Samsung magician. The Marcium reflect does make a full copy of the disk. The Samsung Magician is supposed to do the same thing.

S! Sounds great. With migration software you do not need a disk image as back up. I have a back up drive that is unplugged. Once a month I plug it in. I format it and then copy my primary disk to the back up. If the primary ever goes down or gets infected, I unplug it. Plug in the back up. Make it the primary boot. Then get a new disk for primary or format the old primary and copy the copy back on if it was infected. No need for going through windows recovery or ever being down for longer than it takes to plug in a sata cable.

S! All Saturday, 16 July 2016 Session 5. Blue team is Central. Red team is Entente. The JG1 Server is running a practice version of an odd numbered map. The targets are all in appropriate places. The HQ hidden Recon targets are not in the places they will be for session 5. This mission is up and running so people can practice the special 2 seater missions. If you plan on flying a 2 seater mission, I highly recommend doing some practice missions. S! All and good luck!!

S! All Getting ready for FiF XXiV session 3. Blue team is Entente. Red team is Central. The JG1 Server is running a practice map. ( Dry Run map). This is so the 2 seater pilots can practice their missions. The espion mission requires you sit still for a little longer than you expect. The General mission makes you look for a good area to land. If you get on the server and there is not enough time to do a mission, the server can be reset. Each of the float plane bases has a low flying balloon. Killing the balloon will end the mission. It takes about a minute in the score screen before it reloads. Good luck all. See you Saturday.
