Salut! It's been a long, long time friends but I am back! Where I've been is too complicated and dark to discuss on these forums. Perhaps over a nice pint in the officers club I'll tell you the tale. All things aside, it feels good to be back home. Anyways, long live the partywurm and long live JG1!

Salute! Let me introduce myself. I'm a former RB3D player who is just starting RoF and looking to get back into flying online. I flew with Icewolf in RAF56 back in the heydays of RB3D and particularly enjoyed the FiF campaigns. Icewolf and Bowser recommend JG1 as a great squadron with a great bunch of guys. They have invited me fly with you on the practice server to help me get up to speed on this simulation. It's an offer I gratefully accepted. RoF is an amazing simulation, much more realistic with a steeper learning curve than RB3D. Looking forward meeting you in the virtual skies, leeG (Formerly know as RAF56_Hoidge)

As soon as it gets here and I piece it together I will be flying the friendly skies once again. Life without stutters, don't know if I'll be able to handle it.

If you were to run COD on an AMD processor which would it be. I know what the box says, but really, what would you run COD on (AMD) to enable all it's eye candy. The vid card being an ATI 5000 series card (would have to look at it to remember where in the series it falls). I'm thinking about buying a bare bones kit from Tiger Direct and cannabilizing my Dell of it's sound and video and possibly power unit. So memory type is also open for debate, thanks.

Sorry all, we blew a fuse last night and I forgot to check the status of the server.

I have placed the subject files in the TeamSpeak file folder. The bombsight calulator is titled TURTLECALC.JAR and the other file has a .PDF extension. Don't know enough about the subject to make a comment - hope they help and can improve the squadrons high level bombing capability.

I found this in the Community forums at ROF. The only downside is that when you make your choice and if you're wrong it doesn't identify the acft shown so you can study the profile. Hello Gents! I noticed that you have a couple of mentions of Cliffs of Dover. I wanted to stop in to invite you who are interested in flying CoD to come join us on TS3. a diorama of the Battle of Britian. I need a German unit, or confirmation that JG1 was involved, but I don't think they were. Any unit will do, preferrably one that flew the 109 with the older canopy. Thanks.

S! I have (think) to upgrade my pc again if I want to run RoF and CLod properly. My machine: i3 540 3.07 GHZ 4 GB RAM Win7 Ultimate 64bit VD GeForce 9500GT With that I got FPS follow: IL2 - 30 MW2 - 28 ROF - 17 ARMAII - 11 CLoD - 8 What do you sugest?

S! All Update 1.023 is out for download. Search lights yes, Halb no new flare gun feature. Will probably have to map some new keys. new pilot glamour items. Get that scarf you have always wanted or that 45 cal pistol for shooting yourself after you buy the glamour option. that is right, it is a purchase. Also comes with streamers and maybe a moustache. Everyone gets a red scarf to hide the blood. Your settings should stay the same except for Force feedback. You may have to check or uncheck that depending on your stick. My plane profiles stayed the same. You WILL have to go in and turn on gauges and your paint. N-11 has been tweeked. Unfor…
