  1. Yeah, I just wanted to add, well done for you guys, except the posthumous part, that part you gotta work on
  2. Its playing in Kenosha, so I just sent the links to my wife so we can set things up and reserve our tickets
  3. When I was there, there was only 1 company that had "Hawks", and they were constantly breaking down LOL
  4. MOS: 67N - UH-1H mechanic here. Stationed Schofield Barracks. If you can get on Wheeler, you can go into the valley to the old runway. There's still bullet holes in the runway where the zeros strafed while a pair of P-40s attempted to take off there. There's also still battle damage on the hangers at wheeler as well
  5. Having lived there, 2 weeks is about enough. It gives you the opportunity to see everything, and gets you out before the onset of island sickness.
  6. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday
  7. I looked up the top speeds for the Camel and the PD IIIa. Dont know how much stock you can put into Wiki and such, but the Camel F.1 has about 113 mph at 10,000 feet, and the Pfalz in one listing is listed at 115 mph, but EVERY other listing I can find says 103 mph at 10k. Last night I was flying around the camel, at 6k feet, auto-level, and mixture set to best rpm, the Indicator was reading about 110 mph. I didn't check the Pfalz. Note sure what the historic maneuverability of the PD III is suppose to be, but it seemed to me to be REALLY maneuverable.
  8. Didn't use the Supercharger on the 47, I used the injection boost. The Pfalz is awesome, as is the K 109. The most cool thing so far is I attacked the fuel drums on the field and was able to cook them off with MG fire from the 109, 47 and the Pfalz
  9. Awesome. Well MAYBE my wife will work some overtime and I'll get to fly some of these tonight
  10. And find one of your younger (12 - 16 yr old) family members to teach you how to use it
  11. Is your 1 day a week going to vary, or is it set yet?
  12. Welcome back Hotlead, looking forward to flying with you some more
  13. Its a miniatures wargame. Very entertaining, but if you simulate one of the larger battles, it can take weeks to complete. When we lived in Hawaii, my wife and I played a battle out for 3 months, before she ultimately won, damn canister-shot cannons nearly wiped out an entire regiment of mine (She still wont let me forget about that particular game). Oh, and if you ever do play it, dont attempt to Cav charge a defensive position, very bad news, and apparently I'm not Custer.
  14. Looks pretty awesome. I enjoy Civil War history. My wife and I have MANY hours playing Johnny Reb (table-top war game)
  15. Welcome. Our commander will get back to you soon.
  16. Welcome. Our Commander will be with you shortly
  17. I want to book the first flight from Chicago to Hawaii

I fly only the new looking skin. Have not even looked at the weathered one
  19. The random would still be a placement by Butzzell. He places, say six vehicles, then activates one of those with a random trigger series.
  20. If you do a search on ebay for the POH, on the first page, I found a Q400 data checklist card for $5, and a series 200 POH for $147. Even an outdated POH can give vital info on systems (cause in most cases the systems dont change that much from model to model.) With a 737-200 POH in hand, I'm pretty sure a person who knew nothing about their operation could figure out how to get a -900 started and flying. To jump the gun and restrict study sims, would be foolish and wouldn't actually accomplish anything. If a determined individual wanted to do something like this, they would find another way.
