And don't forget that there was a recent update to BOx / IL2. There will most likely be a Hotfix (maybe today) to correct rudder issues.

I think that the simplest thing (especially since the chutes exist only for one side) is to "Just Say No" to 'chute shooting. When it happens, it turns into a heated debate that has no solution. I really hope that it doesn't become an issue. I will probably refrain from bailing out once we switch to German side.

The lack of toe brakes make them a no go for me. Toe brakes essential for me in many WWII Axis aircraft.

I've had the Logitech (Saitek) for several years and they are certainly adequate. The Thrustmasters are too close together for my taste. My next upgrade will probably be Crosswinds or some other high end set of pedals though, especially since I'm flying lots of helos now.

Got the Mi-8, FC-3 and Combined Arms. Thought about the Jeff but didn't pull the trigger.

Here are Klaiber's, Hotlead's and my Pfalz DXII skins. This template has been somewhat troublesome. The overlays / weathering that Rap has included in the template seemed much too coarse to me. I wound up using parts of the ROF overlays, adjusting the opacity of others and shutting some off. I decided to go with a fairly fresh looking aircraft, as with the Fokker DVIII, since these were introduced very late in the war and the earliest ones would barely have had 4 months in service. Because of the weird overlays, none of the colors that we have been using previously for other aircraft will work on the DXII. They are all much too bright. If anyone else is skinning this plane I can provide the colors that I have come up with. Please review and let me know if further color correction is needed. I decided to use a brighter lozenge pattern similar to what I have used for other aircraft as I felt that the lozenge in the template was much too dark compared to what my research comes up with. AH... I had forgotten that we changed it for FC. Better IMHO since it gets rid of an honor system item.

I see these in the "Primary Target" category (basically the same for Entente): Destroy Entente train [target of opportunity] Destroy On-Road Entente Convoy [target of opportunity] Since these are listed as Primary targets, are they only to be attacked by Bombers?

Does anyone have any info on the paint schemes and letter markings of the P-38 piloys who engaged Oesau? From Wikipedia: Oesau was chased by 1st Lt. James Leslie Doyle, 1st Lt. Wilbur L. Jarvis III and 1st Lt. James C. Austin, of the 428th Fighter Squadron (474th FG, 9th AF). The guncam footage widely shown was apparently from "Pappy" Doyle's plane. Ideally, I'd like paint / markings for his aircraft.

Edit: Destroyed Bridge 3 and got text notification of destruction but icon remained on map. Same with Fac 1. Also, one building at Fac 1 was floating in air.

Butzz... Aerodrome targets are not very apparent on map. No color highlights or icons. Took me quite a while to ID Aerodrome 1 because there was no icon. We need to see that the Icon disappears when the target is destroyed. Bridges are highlighted but only have the number... "1", "2", "3". No text "Bridge". Not a big deal since it's obviously a bridge icon.

I had a bit of difficulty finding the practice server. FYI it's server name is "fif test" and because it's all lower case is located at the bottom of the list (which actually works out quite well). The current mission is "fif classic practice".

I've completed both your and my skins. I changed the lozenge colors on mine to reflect what this guy did with his DVIII replica. His research is pretty good IMHO. http://www.collectors-edition.de/f-t-s_buchbestellung_english.htm (They are the Fokker D.VIII-In Detail Vol 1 and 2) Also made the wings pretty glossy since they were varnished and were glossy in reality. Added oil drips (shiny also). Since these would be relatively fresh aircraft, I'm not going to do much in the way of paint chipping.
