That's terrible I have edited it. Sorry It was tint, but than it showed as wrong and came up with t***t. A check with S3-Translator, showed in Dutch exactly what I was trying to say. Fully agree. I think color in itself is a difficult subject, very difficult. Talk with my girlfriend. I painted the walls in my house in a blue tint, my girlfriend talks about the green walls, I still see them as blue, and that's just one item Colors depend on the light which strikes it. Morning, noon, evening sunlight give the same surface a different reflection. Noon in the tropics gives a different effect than at the Polar Circle. I use most of the time Vallejo colors, but you're not going to find my body in a ditch over the argument that their Black Green is the correct RLM 70. In the past when using photo film I liked Agfa, because to me Fuji was to green, Kodak to blue. But that was how I saw it. I use the template above as an start point, but comparing it to the rare color pictures makes me sometimes alter it just a little. Am I wrong? Is the picture correctly colored? When was it taken? With all you're modeling experience, I think I will like each skin or model you produce.

I had a terrible experience yesterday: my entire skin folder which i use for IL2 A/C has gone. Sub folders files everything, nothing in the dustbin, nothing found through recovery apps, just gone as if it never existed. My only luck is that I posted 2 days earlier some skins on Mediafire. But the last ones I worked on are gone, I have to start all over again (her should be an emoticon crying out it's eyeballs) And bought a bigger and faster external HD for a more regular back-up. I had some *.dds files for testing but they are not completely what I wanted.

I have sometimes the problem where I do have the Throttle X and Y rotation, but nothing else. Also the LEDs are off. My battle damage repair is this: take out the USB of throttle and plug it in again. I hear a beep and I have full control again. Strange is that while the buttons are still not seen by the game (IL2, FC or RoF) the Windows Control Panel shows everything is working same for the VPC-Joy-Setup. I found DIView and will install it for checking my devices (thx for another good application)

May drifting away from the OP, but how many of us have the Tank Crew. I saw that we now also have a JG1 race branch, why not a JG1 Tank Regiment or Battalion? Or have I missed that? Anyhow, Carl and I can bring up our tanks for the unit.

Hello Luftritter, I also use a Virpil HOTAS set-up: MT50 Mongoose Stick and Throttle combined with MFG Crosswind rudder. Standard I use Button 3 for Push-to-Talk but for demonstration purposes I activated the Button 18. As you can see it works. I started implementing Joy-to-Key but in some games it gave to many controllers (I use stick, throttle, rudder, 2x MFD), the Joy-to-Keys added to that was to much. Now I went back to direct game input. S!

For flying in FC, I created 2 personal skins for the Fokker DrI and the Pfalz DIII. I hope you like them and that they are good enough for my JG and Jasta.

Again nice skin. Confusing sometimes the used paintings on aircraft. I thought the Black Eagle was a JG2 thing but I see a lot of the same paintings on other JG aircraft as well but than Without the had. Could it be that the black painting was done to cover the black stains from the engine and that an creative person at JG2 painted an eagle had on it? I found these pictures in a Dutch MoD databank and thought they wrongly mentioned as IV./JG1 and 4./JG1 at Deelen airfield but may they were right after all. The marking after the Cross is also new to me. I will move these later to the Weiss-clopedia and some others I found including the civil and still white version of the Fw 58 of JG1.

Earlier this year I bought the Saitek Switch Panel to have more options in the key binding setup of multi engine aircraft like the Ju 88 in BoS/M based on this line: Flight Simulation Software Compatibility:Most Other Flight Simulation SoftwareWell it just doesn't work, it is recognised by its own test program (how good is that?) and I tried a special program SPAD to make it work but no response The Saitek Logitech support is not around: too busy with the HOTO. Looking in the Windows configuration panel, I see the panel listed among the other hardware. But isn't shown when I click on the Game controls settings, just the stick, throttle and rudder are there. (see in Dutch) Is there a limit on the controls? Looking for something else I was tipped by a fellow complainer for a switch panel from VRInsight Switch Panel? They advertise with these lines: * Windows XP, Vista, 7, 10 compatible * Fully compatible with all simulators : Flight Simulator X/STEAM version, Falcon 4, IL-2 Sturmovik, Black Shark, Lock ON, X-Plane, Ship Sim Extremes, Space Shuttle, etc.... * Plug & Play installation * No driver required * Fully programmable directly from your game software or FSUIPC I hope that maybe one of you had an experience with an additional switch panel that works with a flightsim other than FS/FX.

Namaste Butzzell, Sounds as a nice mission with many pilots involved. What if the 1st experimental plane is flown by a Blue human pilot and he/she has to fly a certain circuit over the front to test the capabilities of that plane. If that is done successfully the Blue side will be rewarded in the present mission only with and improved plane or maybe a heavy bomber or number X double/top machine guns. If the Blue ace fails in completing the circuit all happens as you described above and the Red side will have the additions. It will a gamble for each side to bring out the test plane or not you could win or loose a lot with it. In case say the Reds have won the Blue test plane and their ace succeeded in completing the circuit the Reds will have a double reward e.g. 2 heavy bombers.
