S! All After the update, the config file was reset. I changed the traffic limit so there was no huge lag issue but I forgot to change the chat log. No log means no parser stats. Just shoot me.

Some people have experienced a specific error. It will say "side by side configuration is incorrect". It means you are missing a Micro Soft redistributable file. This is a link to missing MS redistributable files. Do not click on the big blue sign that says download. It is the blue text line underneath it. Log in with your email and pw Immediately go to settings in the game and select joystick. Mouse is default and it really gets weird. It may reset your center head view position. It may reset your programmed keys on your joy stick. Your response curves may be set to "All Planes".

S! All I had a report from BaronVonMyakin that the Spy would not give a secondary after he was picked up. I checked in the mission editor and all looked well. Nothing changed since the last FiF. I flew a practice mission, picked up the Spy and the tight lipped little bas*&&^^rd would not tell me anything. The target selection logic has several back ups and repeaters built in. It may be over complex. It may not be able to execute everything within one game cycle. The General Capture secondary works on a different logic. I grabbed this pattern and used it for the Spy. I do not like making changes during a tournament because there is always the chance of creating a new problem. I have tested this over eight times and it has worked every time. I have replaced the practice mission with this new version. Sorry for the glitch.

There is only on valve on top of the cylinder (monosaupe). They were at the spot where the valve opens and squirting in a fuel and oil mixture to prime the cylinder. You have to do the cylinders individually. Similar to a 2 stroke, the fresh fuel and oil mixture is sucked in through ports in the bottom of the cylinder. There is nothing like being close to one of these engines when fired up and smelling the burnt castor oil. It lets you know that this is the real deal.

S! ALL Congratz Red team on a climb out of a deep hole to win phase A. Blue team started out strong delivering what looked like a knock out blow in the first round. As the campaign wore on. Red team had a total overhaul in strategy that let them struggle back. There were some great fights and some surprises. On to phase B with newer and faster planes. 17, February, 2018 teams will change sides. Blue Team will be flying Central Red Team will be flying Entente. Attention both teams! S! The skin packs for RoF are rather large, about 1.5 gig each. The community fictional is where JG1 has personal skins. I do not have a specific JG1 skin pack download. The personal skins allow us to identify each other very easily and quickly. If you want to make your own skins and put them in the appropriate file, you will see them in game. I am not sure but if you distribute them to other players, they too could see your skin. Creating skins now will be good practice for Flying circus. It will also give you a chance to test your ideas and see how they look.

S! The problem is.... half of the forums are people just bitching with no constructive comments. HotLead has shown that the real RoF community is positive and engaged. He not only demonstrated the visual beauty of the game but the vast variety of personal and community aspects as appreciated by the players. The developers could not ask for a more fitting tribute to a marvelous sim.
