Hadn't noticed until now that the 737-900 by PMDG was out, so I picked that up as well. So now I have the 600-900 737s

The PMDG aircraft have skins built into the downloader that you can choose

Now comes the fun part, setting up MSFS graphically and your aircraft controls. I have multiple control profiles, one for single engine, one for twins, one for twin jets, and one for the dc 7 (and eventually the Connie when I pick it up)

I run mine pretty vanilla. Fsuipc, fsrealistic, fstraffic and airhauler 2. I have most of the carnado acft, and the pmdg 737s and the dc7

Well, the 410 is cool, but, for me, the biggest most welcome change is the durability value reset (still dont understand why they cant just set the correct durability values from the drop down list, but at least no more digging out my spreadsheet, or loading a map to get the correct values). The most disappointing is the profile changes. So now we get to go back to, well if you want to be competitive, you have to mess around with the profiles for days, weeks, months and years, until you get instantaneous unrealistic maneuvering. I'm sure in no time, we'll have snap turret traversing as well

The event is mission based. The primary mission of the allies is to destroy a target. The hurricane squadron is meant as an escort for the bombers, attackers and recon aircraft. The German primary mission is to defend. The Germans have no attackers or bombers, cause that is not their mission, and they have no targets. It was never intended, or designed to be a fighter slugfest. Winning the mission requires the bombers attacking and destroying targets. Regarding the number of German fighters, its solely due to each Gruppen Stab and Staffel being represented. Having said that, there are plans, based on number of allied pilots, to increase the number of allied aircraft if need be.

48% of air accidents occur during the approach and landing phase of flight. These typically occur in the downwind to base turn and the base to final turn. They get themselves too slow, and dont take into account the increased stall speeds in banked flight, and end up in a stall/spin event a couple hundred feet above the ground. As my fligt instructor liked to say, "If you stretch your glide, you're tryin' to die"

Yeah, that was completed last night, and it made no difference. I completely uninstalled every last bit of DCS today, then reinstalled the base game. I loaded each module individually, starting with the mig-21, and the game crashed upon restart. I uninstalled again, and started over, loaded in a couple of the other aircraft, Mig-19, then the F-86, then the Mig-15, and all went fine. Decided to try the Mig-21 again, and it crashed. Did it a third time, this time the 21 went in just fine along with all the other modules. I'm thinking that there might be a random hidden issue with the 21???? So my DCS is back up and running, at least for now

So, I finally got DCS updated to the latest version, then DCS would freeze on the authorization screen. So I deleted dcs from the computer, and reinstalled, everything loaded as normal. Then I installed all the modules, and dcs crashed again. So, I uninstalled DCS again, and starting to load each module individually, to see which one is crashing. So far, the Mig-19 is fine, and now installing Syria. This is gonna take awhile

What is means by not steam compatible is, if you buy through steam, you cannot buy through the website and vice-versa. Once you commit to one, youre stuck with it unless you decide to purchase everything again through the other medium. Most of us go through the website.
