Pretty amazing. It's kinda like the old Matte paintings of the Godzilla original. So cool. Who needs CGI!

Love is in the air...

I am SOOO looking forward to this! Release date · August 27, 2021 (United States)

Wow! Congratulations Barton!

Nice flying and very good explanation of the process... thanks! Does "Back in the saddle" mean that you're going to be flying with us again? That's my hope.

I agree with Klai. I avoid purchasing anything on Steam whenever possible. If you buy direct from whichever developer they get 100% of the funds. Steam takes a cut. Also, Steam is confusing when you want to load a game in a different drive. It can be done but you have to know how to do it. If you let Steam put it in the default "C" drive, I've found it problematic to move it to another drive. I'm sure it's probably due to my not being fully understanding, but that's just me and I find it better to avoid the issue entirely by purchasing direct from the Dev.

Thought WE had problems... Starting at about 2:15... The pilot of Speedbird 116 showed some extreme patience... I would have started screaming at her. "Maam, I can't taxi without starting my other engines.. :

I used to work on an L-39 with hot seats (Russian). I had to go through training by the main guy who imported them into the US. It was relatively simple to remove the seats but still stressful. I was more freaked about the canopy blow system which is essentially 4 rods (daggers ) in the canopy rails with explosive charges below them to drive them up and thus force the canopy up and off. They can't be removed easily and you have to make damn sure that the safety pin is in. Always had thoughts of it going off while I'm leaning in to the cockpit with my chest resting on the canopy rail. Of course, it never happened since I am able to type this.

I was always terrified of accidentally deploying at ground level inside the hangar

"The official minimum deployment height for Cirrus parachutes is 400 feet agl in level flight or 920 feet in a spin, but factors such as speed affect the altitude required"
-
Unless it's a really old Cirrus it would have a Garmin with TCAS and I'm pretty sure that the Metro would have TCAS as well. Why did neither of them see the other acft. on the fish finder? Also, I would think that they were both under ATC control. Pretty sure that some heads might roll. Just goes to show that even with all the "modern" gizmos shit still happens. I'm amazed and impressed that the Metro held together but I still don't want to work on one...

fxo and Metashader2 have been cleared. How do you clear the Nvidia cache?
-
Thanks Klai but sadly, I've already done all of those... looks like I'll have to live with it until ED comes up with a fix.
-
Nope... still getting crash on 2nd mission.
-
Hmm... yeah, I was modifying missions in the ME to add targets and the second "Fly Mission" would crash. I'll check it with plain vanilla instant missions.
-
Is anyone else here experiencing this like I am? If so, have you fixed it and how did you fix? I've tried a few of the recommended items but it's still happening. Here's the thread: 2.7.0.4625 Open Beta crash at second mission load https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/267836-2704625-open-beta-crash-at-second-mission-load/

'K... pre-ordered. I also got the KA-50 after seeing Trev fly it. Sooo much easier to control than the Huey but I got's to keep flying the Huey to keep up my skills.
