It was just published on the 19th of November. I may try to pick it up for the history of JG3 in BoB. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1780962983/ref=s9_newr_co_d63_g14_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=left-3&pf_rd_r=0B03HGX1176KEV1TPEQY&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=1280661842&pf_rd_i=typ01

Saw this over at SimHQ: http://youtu.be/bjLRoj5DE9k It has some great shots of JG I's aircraft and pilots.

S! JG1, Sorry for my continued inactivity. Git another punch from life I got to roll with. Tore my ACL in my left knee training for a Martial Arts called Battle of Atlanta. Its the olympics of Marti Arts tournaments. My training partner went to go in for a take down by grabbing the back of my knees and I was able to underhook both of his arms before he was able to wrap me. I went to go lift hit him straight up and drop him but as soon as I got him up my knee popped twice and I went back further than it was suppose to because I locked it out. I immediately dropped and screamed like I never screamed before. That shit had me damn near delusional. On a lighter not…

I picked up a couple advertisements on Youtube today showing a machinima using CloD:

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I thought that this was a great photo essay of WW1: http://www.theatlantic.com/static/infocus/wwi/introduction/

S! All RoF sale 50% off for 2 weeks. Sale ends May 8th. Do not wait till then as it will probably end at midnight Moscow time, which is middle of the day in North America. Now is the time to pick up those few planes you might not have as well as some gun mods and field mods. enjoy

During my interwebz wanderings I found some interesting information. Klaiber may or may not have been aware of this already. I always assumed the Finnish Air Force adopted the use of the hakenkreuz because of their allegiance with WWII Germany. It turns out it was the lucky charm of a Swedish count, von Rosen, who had it painted on the aircraft he gave the Finns on 6 March 1918. On 18 March 1918, the Finns adapted the Hakaristi as their official symbol, certainly pre-dating the NSDAP. The white circle background is interesting because it was created out of the necessity to cover up the advertisement of a flying school. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_A…

This is a little old, December, but I don't know if it was noted here. I stumbled on it while trying to research the German "lobster-pots" that were anchored in the channel during BoB. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2523196/WWII-Sunderland-flying-boat-raised-seabed-65ft-waves.html

Klaiber, You mentioned the other day you liked the Battlemaster in Battletech, so I put a quick review together for you. Enjoy S! http://www.twitch.tv/sc_akula_osis/c/3926856

Salute! The Wingwalkers have choosen Midland as the location for our get together this year, the weekend of Oct 11th and 12th. I know it's early, and as such, we have less than 10 WW'ers who can definitely commit to attending at this time, but I expect the number to grow as time goes on. I was wondering if any JG1 members had planned to go to Midland this year, and if so, our 2 Squads may, if necessary, combine to get a block of hotel rooms to get a lower rate. Just throwing this out as a preliminary "feeler", and as I get more info on hotels, etc. Ill fill you in. Fair skies, and fun times, WWPlague, aka Dan
