S! All Link for all planes. These are just color and marking studies so they look bright. Have not done levels or alpha layers yet. Patterns are variation on previous themes. Trying to get away from monochromatic schemes. No all RED or all BLACK planes. Tried to do blood streaks on Hett's plane. Don't think it works. Please list changes. planes

Salute, I was wondering if there are rules on choosing an avatar? When choosing the picture of a real life person must he have a very clean record. Some of the aces were supporters of the Partei but committed no war crimes. Do I or not have to present the name of the person, so that his record can be checked? The rules for the avatar picture I found in my profile. But I did not find answers for the questions above. Heinrich

S! Did some preliminary studies. I think VK's is ok. Max needs to look his over. I moved the eagle back and made a black area. The wheels are mostly black with some yellow shine through. I moved the R to the turtle deck. For the most part, I think it is ok. Very easy to spot at a distance. Planes

Anyone collect diecast models? Here is a shot of the newest addition to my 1:48 scale Great War collection. It's a Corgi model (AA38905) of Jasta 10 Leader Oblt Erich Löwenhardt's Fokker D.VII F. S!

Althoughh not WW 1, these pictures might be of interest to our IL-2/BoS brethren. S! Fw 190A-8 of Rudi Linz. On 9 February 1945 Linz was shot down and killed in action flying this airplane in defense of the German destroyer Z33 in an operation which was later labeled as Black Friday by the Allied aircrew. S! All No.42_Awdie, KNS_IceWolf, has saved many of the old Flanders in Flames records from back in the RB3D days. He was very gracious in allowing me access. I have tried to assemble as many records as possible for Flanders in Flames. The records are not always complete. Many records are missing. The RoF series of FiF will be added. Unless you certainly know what you're doing, don't get too far ahead of yourself. GS is still flying HSFX 6.0.17 but I imagine it will only be a matter of time before we upgrade. HSFX 7 has been released for 4.12.1. http://www.242sqn.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3770

<S> Gents I could use some help on getting my ROF back up. I am currently getting 25-40fps, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some graphics tweaks. I have found a few myself, but honestly they are all pretty old. Any help is appreciated

S! JG1, Good to see everything's still rolling. I just so happened to be in front of a computer for once so I thought I'd sign on and say hello. Hope everyone and group is doing well! I'm in a situation where I have to save every penny I make for a new place. Probably going to be that way for a couple more months. Once that's through I'll be able to get a new pc, at least I'm hoping lol. If anyone has been wondering, IL-2 withdrawals suck. Been in cold sweats all day, no sleep, excessive crying, and terrible moods. =] Take care guys! I look forward to flying with you all again, can't wait! S! Regards, Tyson Green II./JG1_c4nucK P.S. S! All A problem was detected in which Otto might say something when it should be Waldo and then Waldo would say nothing. Captain Picard had Data and Jordi investigate. The original suspicion was in the subtitle coalition assignment routine. This proved to be lengthy and tiresome. After starring at ME screens in 3D for hours, Jordi had to have his visor realigned. Data went down the recon / arty - secondary discriminator subroutine path. Data is now having a self diagnostic of his own. After cramming for his next Star Feet Academy exam, Wesley Crusher was so strung out on Klingon Meth that he instantly saw the problem as a cross connection in the recon primary / se…

S! All We saw a Bristol FB2 using what was made as a skin for a captured airplane. That means the Bristol would be at a German drome and would be in German Markings. Well encountering a Bristol from a British drome in German markings is more than confusing. The pilot - SkychaserGT knew it was a German skin on a plane from the British side. Captured skins probably have a place somewhere in the twilight zone. mho If you want to fly a Bristol and be British, fly with an appropriate skin. If you want to be German and fly a Bristol, switch sides. The skin is in the BristolFB2 skin folder it is Jasta 5 squadron hack. I have deleted this file from my skins folder…
