OK, been through a lot of videos about mapping the TRACKIR centering command onto my throttle in DCS but not getting a clear answer. Anyone please point me in the correct direction. Thanks

For an unknown reason TS conflicts with my settings. This results for the view part in stutters and lagging and the voice in&out becomes very garbled. The problem is the same for DCS and IL-2. The problem started after the reset of TS, but no clue if there is a causal connection, and yes, I have all the latest versions. When using Discord for the comms, I have no problems at all (flight related 😜) Just to let you know and because maybe there is someone out there with the same problem.

Seems like a lot of mods are going to start flagging IC, to currently include Vaicom and a slew of exports for cockpit builders. ED went overboard because someone cheated in SATAL and are apparently working to backtrack and allow legitimate mods. For the time being, these could cause some of us problems online.

OK.... clean install recently updated (thanks Snaggle) game works fine. Of course all the key bindings are gone, that's OK... I didn't have much done there anyway. So I am trying to get the thing to fly... and all I get is flutter in the ailerons and it rolls over and dies. Joystick (Virpil) works fine in DCS and Cliffs of Dover (see bottom comment) but can't get a clean control so far in BoS. I tried deleting all the other fields for pitch and roll (keyboard etc) thinking that might overlap but that didn't get it done. Is there something that tells BoS that I am using a Virpil stick or something else I need to delete... or maybe a calibration in BoS I …

Has anyone else noticed that the JG1.org forums hang when you first try to post - either a new thread or a reply to an existing post within an existing thread. I've had this issue since we updated to the new version of the boards, and have "fixed it" by browsing around the forum for a bit, and then heading back to post my post. If multiple people are having this issue, I'll contact our web host and see what I can do.

Hi Guys, I just got a nice bonus and a raise and I'm thinking, that now might be a good time to think about building a new PC. My current Machine ist still sufficient (GTX 1070, 16gb Ram, Ryzen Prozessor => actually don't know what Model that is and can't look it up right now. It was the first smaller consumer model, two HDDs and two 500gb SSDs) The computer is still sufficient for most stuff but I would like to try out VR and thats not possible with that machine. Kameraden, I want to map the Mk-103 Cannon on the HS-129 to a dedicated button. Right now I'm getting the 20's as well and it's a different aiming point. Anyone aware of a work around in mapping? S!

There is a setting in VA that lets you specify a key that when pressed suspends listening for VA. I have this set to my Pause/Brk key which is my TS push to talk key, but VA is still listening. Has anyone gotten this to work?

Hey gents, I’ve started to taking an interest in building a simpit for the 109 in il-2 with exporting the instrument data to external gauges. I know that this has been done before in il-2 1946 and is currently possible in DCS (I’m reminded of TheWarthogProject’s beautiful setup). It seems like I’m not the only one on the forums that’s interested; apparently Jason is waiting for someone to come up with a concrete approach before they can get to work on something to facilitate that. Perhaps some of you guys with coding/electronic experience knows of a temporary work around with that sort of thing? How does one approach getting something like this in il-2?

A while back I bought myself a new 500Gb M.2 drive to boost my storage capacity. Was a bit lazy and didn't get around to installing until today. I opened the case and realised there was no screw in the box it came in. There was no spare screw in my motherboard either, just the mounting screw by the second M.2 slot. I checked the box my MSi board came in, no spare screw. So the question is where do I find one of these little buggers? I find it ridiculous Samsung can't even supply a bloody screw in the pack, I can't even mount the damned thing as it is. 😭

Ive been all over the forums reading of this issue & have yet to find a solution so decided to poll this group for hidden knowledge. I had been flying IL2 since its 1st release without issue but 2 patches ago it suddenly stopped working. When I fire it up I get the black screen where it displays "Loading IL2" at the top then I get a CTD. Ive tried all the solutions found on the forums (delete user folder, do steam repair, turn off all overlays & complete reinstall) & so far nothing works. I was landing in MSFS2020 the other day when I noticed that instead of braking with both feet, I veered off the runway. Left toe brake has failed. Tested the pots and they both had 5kOhm resistance so, it was time to take it it apart and see where the wire broke. I was stunned when I opened this thing up because the designing the wires to be inside the moving bar looks prone to fail. I realized later that the wires have to follow the movement of the foot pedals, but maybe allowing a little play in there instead of the hard glue might work better. Upgraded to Windows 10 after years of begrudgingly giving Microsoft the middle finger about their forced update nonsense so long ago. Now IL-2 Sturmovik won't connect to multiplayer servers. Every time I select one and try to connect, regardless of which one it is, it just freezes until it times out and kicks me back to the title screen with a "Cannot connect to server" error. I tried removing the firewall and a few other things and nothing has solved the issue. I even reinstalled the game. Nothing. Any suggestions? Searching the il-2 forums has brought up nothing.

I posted a bug report on il2 forum here - https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/69749-game-not-loading-after-4506-most-recent-update/ I was running TweakII so I could customize my fan profile for my Nvidia 1070 card. Apparently, there is something in this patch not allowing the game to run, at least for me, if tweak 2 is on. I tried MSI afterburner program, can set up fan profile as well, same deal, game will not start and I get some phony entries in the tex.log file. Does any1 run either of these 2 programs for fans, if not can anyone recommend a program I can use that will be allowed to run and run IL2 ?

Hi guys, short question: As my plans for buying a new PC system becoming more concrete now I want to raise a question again, that was for sure discussed here & at several other places, nevertheless I'd like to know the actual opinion-landscape of my JG1 mates here (esp. those who fly the IL2 BoX series): AMD Radeon or NVIDIA for GPU => What are your preferences and why?

Got my Reverb G2 on Tuesday. After some struggles with inexperience and sparse instructions I got it working. Mapped out a play area, did some exploring in the WMR cliff house, and finally started IL2 to see how it looks out of the box. Il2 started up, loading WMR and SteamVR, and looked pretty good in the hanger. As I was trying to figure out how to move the menu WMR presented me with an error code 4-1 : usb connection failure.
