Prepping for new hardware, I uninstalled my CH Control Manager software. The uninstall routine notified me that I needed to have all CH devices unplugged in order to continue, and I had already done that. After uninstall and reboot, Windows set up "unknown device", so I checked Device Manager, and uninstalled the "unknown device". Upon reboot, it just reinstalled the "unknown device". I can't get rid of this device. Apparently there is something left over in the registry. I'm not good with that but I did a search for the device ID and deleted what I found. Still, it installs the unknown device after each time I uninstall it. Any help appreciated.

For some reason my gunner head position has changes and yt eye no longer stays aligned with the ring and bead sight. This renders me useless as a gunner and I can no longer fly as a gunner (especially irritating due to my current "death" streak in FIF). I have tried all of the head position changes... "Insert, Home, Pg up... etc" and have saved by pressing F10. I also did a game recover but to no avail. Does anyone know where in the files this might be located? Any other ideas?

S! Please, any idea what is happens here. When climb, pitch control is not stabilized.

This program allows SteamVR games (like BoX/FC) to be ran directly through Oculus’s software. This could improve performance due to one less layer of software. I will be testing it on BoX, myself. All, I recently received an update that caused me a lot of trouble. The Windows update in the title is a major update which is basically a new version of Windows 10. The update failed to install properly two separate times, giving the following error code: 0xc1900101. The machine then reverted back to it's previous revision level and began to work correctly. Researching the error code showed that it means there was some driver problem or incompatibility. Recommended action was to disconnect all USB devices except for keyboard and mouse. Unable to connect

One of the many controls problems I have in the IL2 series is that my TIR hotkeys don't work in the game. In RoF they always worked fine. For view centering, I have the "home" key entered in my TIR program, and for pausing, I have "End" chosen. Both have "enable", "toggle" and "trap" checked in the TIR program. Still, when in IL2, they don't work. Any ideas?

Hi guys. My old MSI GTX 660 Ti finally went into the silicon heaven last week. I was forced to complete re-installation of PC (oh my God, my ancient, nine years old I5 750 now works with speed of the light ). I bought MS GTX 1060 and now I can fly at 0 feet at high details with 60 fps, whereas I used to have between 20 to 25 fps . Anyway, is there a guide of how to fine tunes the graphic card/game settings to achieve the best results? Thanks for the information. Pragr

Raz, Seems Vive and Rift have different x1.0 settings now. I'm still at 66% in SteamVR, but having dealing with memory issues again. I felt it my be of interest to others to share my experiences of 3 different Joysticks over the past 5 weeks or so. I came to RoF using my old Logitech 3D Extreme Pro. This was great for Elite Dangerous and with easy to assign buttons it served its time there well. However with RoF it was very stiff to use and I soon noticed pain in my right forearm. And so I started to do some research. Here in Australia we have a very limited choice, eg. Logitech, Flight Master and CH. Logitech I know, I looked at Flight Master (Warthog) however I had read that it was also quite stiff to use and the cost was prohibitive. OK.... the new Spit and 109 are out..... and I go to the game and it tells me that I can't sign in (with it saved... and working for weeks) and to check to see if my license has been activated. I go to the website and sign in properly (with it saved, the same way... user/pw ) and check the license key thing... and it clearly says activated ... back to the game.... no bueno.... stumped.... thanks in advance to all those with knowledge of such mysterious inner workings. Couldn’t have had better timing. After messing around with budget cards for some time I got fed up with it and went the Nuclear option. Went on newegg and picked up an EVGA 1080 ti SC Black Series. Coughed up almost $800 for a back ordered card that should be here in a couple weeks. Could have gotten one sooner but it would have cost an extra $200 and the frugal side of me won the internal argument. After two days the back ordered cards have gone up $100 and the in stock cards have jumped from a little over $900 to over $1,300. Sweet Jesus

Bottom line up front is, don’t try to update firmware on a warthog using USB 3.0 ports. Long story short, had to pick up a cheap laptop at Target with USB 2.0 ports so I could revive my HOTAS. It was a brick for a little bit there. I’ve been dusting things off and testing, but I still feel like I don’t know where to start 🤣 On the good news front I tested out CloD Blitz and I was able to run it relatively stable with medium settings. OK... I signed in to BoS a couple of weeks ago... and there was the massive update.... I made it through that OK .... I guess... the game loaded and played. So last night I sign in again... and this time is says I must upgrade my game. Now..... the BIG update happened all by itself.... but this time, no auto upgrade. I snooped around on the net and looked for the proper method, looked in my profile etc for help, so something about a launcher and tried to download 150+ meg something that didn't complete... it was checking my machine for something and never went on. IS there hopefully a painless way to upgrade this thing? thanks in advance, LL

Saving all plane's controls and the response settings to file is a must , as I found out early on making a slight edit to my game name. Just wondering if there are other factors to watch out for when doing this ? Thanks in advance ! ~S~

S~: I have an X52 Flight control system joystick and Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. I recently installed the Saitek Software and I am unable to get the pinkie switch on the joystick (button 6) and a few buttons on the X52 Throttle to be recognized in the games (button 31,32). They are working in windows but the game is not recognizing them. Does anyone have a profile that works for these games or a solution to this issue? Thanks, Badger

My question is actually simple its about USB ports. So with all the controls I have. I'm running them through a USB hub. I'm trying to save space in case I get into VR. My joystick is running straight to the computer figured that was the most important didn't want any issues with that one. So when I went into DCS my DIY control panel wasn't there. I pulled it out of the hub and put it into my computer and it showed up. I guess 7 was too many in one hub. So here is my question. So what I have left over for inputs on the backside of the computer is two 3.1 USB and one 3.1 type C. Since USB is all about band width should I just get a second 2.0 hub and split …

The control panel is a Leo Bodnar board. The control panel to the right is a DSD board. It didn't do what I wanted so that is why I decided to build my own. Not sure why it look so dark. Also I adjusted the height of my monitor so I can see my MFD's better.
