If your xmp'ing, you shouldn't, be able to manually adjust timings.. (bios would over ride to xmp profile?) You could Run the built in windows memory test, for a faster test than mem test. Yes you could have a bad stix. But the aspect that your under clocking to post is wacked. Default Bios, with xmp should post! I keep thinking the cpu to mem strap. If your manually adjusting the mem timings, that strap ratio could muck things up Default Bios, 1 stix, a/b test xmp, then the other stix Every thing is an a/b test, pain in the ars Hope you win Mox

memtest86...is a ram stress tester program. Shade are you XMP'ing, or manually OC'ing to 4000? XMP should be stable. Are you Blue Screen'ing? (Just went through a mess with my rig, NO BSOD...equaled PSU)

Jaus Intel K= overclock, a 8700k can do 5GHz easily. Your mother board Im sure has an auto OC 1 button press utility. That would probably get you to 4.5 gig (over 4gig, under 4 too slow for sims) just monitor cpu temps. Mox

Yes.... The set up here is for "on the fly", not S.o.P.! Check on, check off. Mox
-
Ran some tests tonight. Set up for WW2, is simple! 1 "radio" in the airplane = 1 push to talk button. (Push "channel's" , to comm)...Same as SRS. Overlay is "clear" and simple. Better than srs???? That is as far as I got, no one to talk to! We can test on our server, on the fly....just have to tick the voice chat, before getting into the server. single radio key binding
-
~S~ The question is...why the check box (voice chat on) is mess'in things up? At this moment "we" all have absolutely no idea!, only speculation. So in order to proceed, and I think we should, (because of the possibilities, and because we don't know crap) we need a test platform, outside of practice! In other words another project. Currently "we" JG1 has nothing that blanket' ly works!!! Every program requires a minimum of parameters, that require not only user but group adaption, not to mention bugs, and pulling teeth. (perfection)If this voice chat program, seamlessly functions integrated in-pit , IE clickable cockpit, DCS will be uniquely functional, the other sims will be the community "set up, cross platforming, Nightmare!" If this DCS radio, has anything in it that requires "user perfection"....its another cross platform, just not another 3rd party program. This thing has to be user "automatic", and Server programing simply "clean"...that's a small window! But "we" need to know! What Ive had read, skimmed over, that's its intent. Is intent reality? Play with it, read about it , discover what gives, maybe its the great hope, while Im trying to take off with bombs and full flaps. with in 3 weeks, we'll know lol LOL Mox

Now which building was I suppose to hit? lol

Are there pedals out there without brakes? Other than DYI's. "If the plane has brakes...got to have them. Cant conceive of pushing buttons, and or "Blipping" all or nothing. If its WW1, no brakes...you dont move your ankles. Still try in panic mode. (too fast geeez no breaks) lol Mox Just looked at the VKB's interesting...can one "program" IE differential braking in different sims?
-
Logitec bought out Saitek, their so to speak the same thing. Ive had my Saitek's (same ones) for over 10 years now. Good luck Mox
-
~S~ Ted! Once you go to pedals you'll never go back. Even the Saitek now Logitec's feel right over the twist. Logitec link....One of the Kickers of pedals, your chair to your pedals will have to be stationary. For reference, if your using an x52 the resolution of the twist, is twice the resolution of the of the Saitek pedals 1024 vs 512...so sensitivity of the twist is more finite. But back in the day, and to test it out on the cheap, I made a Tee bar (added brakes later) out of plumbing nipples, and a $15.00 joy stick (loved em). (Dont need brakes for WW1, But anything else more advanced, ) Mox

~S~ Heinrich! Audio/Visual "studder's" can be caused by tooo much processing bandwidth. (audio uses a lot, and if your on, on-board audio, its all running through your box) As an experiment...in TeamSpeak, change the "Codec" . Or also you could try to "Dumb Down" the audio sampling rate in windows. TS: Edit the Channel. Right click on the channel you want to edit and select "Edit Channel". Audio Settings. Click the "Audio" tab to open the audio settings for the channel. Selecting the new Codec. ... Save the Settings. Windows: Sound/playback/"what your using"/"right click"/ Properties/Advanced/ (16bit is fine for TS) Might work, maybe! Mox

Il-2 flight data export for simpit as in DCS
Moxy replied to ScorchedBeans's topic in Technical Support
Cliffs ....outputs aircraft telemetry also, and with a 2nd computer its virtually plug and play. But its Gauges display on a monitor Window. But if your into a sim pit, levers, switches, etc. This will help out http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=94&zenid=91062f78fa4dbd2d9bfd82337cc1d950 ~S~ -
You might have just won the war! Moxy

~S~ Guys try turning "exclusive" off (zero), in the Start up config. Exclusive give the game override capability might work [KEY = input] exclusive = 0 <-------------- input_map = "input.map" mouse_plane_control = 0 old_trackir = 0 turrets_angle_limit = 0.00000 turrets_dc = 1 Mox

~S~ Etzel Just recently switched to nvida from AMD! (the differences are very visually subtle) There are few shaders with in BoX that my AMD didn't process as intended (didnt realize till the switch) (correctable with a Vulcan wrapper, or reshade, but that's another story) The 1st 2 things I noticed immediately after the switch, was a luma? glow (aircraft on fire) , that was not visible on my AMD. Also the rendering of the GUI map...the tone-aility was slightly more readable. Another big factor for myself from AMD to Nvida, was aircraft render. Nvida seems to be more constant through out distance (still pranged) compared to my AMD I think this is due to the glow. Im not a fan boy, but I like AMD better, But my game seems to work visually better on Nvida. (at least on my system) Proof for the 1st time since they started creating "Fair" visibility lol... I can actually see. (for what it worth) But here's the kicker, they change stuff (including shaders) every update...and without knowing their "reference system" "Who knows what this game should look like!" Hope this helps, good luck Moxy

Win 10 is a resource and data collecting sponge! Had horrible input lag on my stick.(old school run a clean boot) If you choose you cant cut a lot of unneeded bloat. And maybe even find Zupper power! (hidden power setting) Did about 90% of this with great results. Will see how long the changes hold. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgW7iXejfqQ
