Hi! As each campaign authors build the roads , rails and ships path for his specific campaign , I feel difficult to take a look at them and understand how and where the campaign 'll 'move' along the routes and where the specific locations are placed.... I started to use frontline markers to identify each track ends....but is a long and tedious process.... Wondering if there is a better way to recreate the full paths from rls , rds data? Any helps , or tips 'll be really welcomed! Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi! Taking as example the test campaign by Lonestar I was thinking how to build a similar campaign for the siege of Malta.... But....historically.... The blue lines of communication and the red line of communication are separated by a lot of sea....can these 2 paths systems be separated or for a working campaign a unique , uninterrupt path , is needed...like a Sicily to Malta sea route the need to be closed by timetable command? Other than Malta also a Murmansk campaign or a BoB campaign can have the same gap between red and blue areas.... Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi! I was looking at the knowledge of the internal files to develop a campaign with DCG.... As I think to add some new planes I need to understand how their loadout are unsed.... For example I have to update the He-51 loadout because in the late part of SCW it was used for ground attack.... So , this is the string with only default entries....but each loadout stand for a specific usage....did you know which is the order so I can change the 'default' with the appropriate loadout ?: He51C default default default default…

I for some reason when i have bombs equipped on the wing the bomb attached teh the fuselage wont drop i have no idea whya or what to do can anyojne hellp.... using il-2 1946 with some graphical updates and the dcg ... happens on all campaigns.... for some reason the BOB maps and dcg file packs wont work either...

I've just returned to il2 1946 after years away from it. I've got the game working with the bat mod and also dcg. Is there an online source anywhere to download campaigns, battle of britain, maybe some pacific stuff etc? There are lots of campaigns on mission4today website but are these compatible with dcg or are they designed with dgen in mind?

Hello, i'm new , used the 3.49 version and i got a little problem first: In most of our game (coop online campaign) we are heavily outnumbered (pacific campaign) , density squadron is set to moderate, i choose balanced sides in wizard set up so i'm kind of lost on that Second problem, kyushuu campaign 44 and 45 version dont work, when i select a plane and click fly i got a selected aircraft not detected Also it seems i can only successfully generate campaign using full auto generation mode (coop or sp variant) When i use the manual mode, i have to select the campaign in il-2 then getting back in dcg to generate a mission, but they dont appear in pilot…

This is kind of directed to Lonestar. Our group is running your Extended Solomon's Campaign. I set up as a navy flight group off a carrier. We finished the Eastern Solomon Campaign and moved to the Guadalcanal. It has us taking off from land. Is there any way to add a carrier to this campaign? Thanks!

When DCG generated a mission from the primary .mis file, how does it use the objects in the NStationary and Buildings sections? does it copy over all objects or is it selective in some way? I think it is the latter, in which case I was wondering what criteria is uses to choose.

Returning to 1946 after an absence. Looking to download DCG 3.50 from the tread in the Announcements page but there are no links. Thanks. Also, I was astonished to learn there is now an IL-2 1946 version 4.15 available for download. I haven't DL'ed it yet as I still have PTSD from 4.14's shenanigans... 😄

The question is : How does DCG ( or any other campaign format in IL2 ) determine when ( any ) Rank Promotion ( NOT Medal Awards ) is made. I know there is a setting which affects this rate , but I would like to know what the baseline criteria for these advancements is. Total Points accumulated ? Aircraft Shot Down Points accumulated ? Here There is at least one thing that will need to be addressed in DCG which is the inclusion of Vichy France as a new nation. Other thing is, the ingame Java machine will be updated. Would that affect DCG?

I don't really know what I'm doing wrong, I'm following all instructions to the letter and taking care to follow every step as explained in the txt files and dcg itself. I'm using BAT with the 3.50 dcg beta I try to create an Iwo campaign for the IJA: 1. I open dcg, create a new campaign (auto-generation unselected off course) 2. Go to IL2 and choose the created IWO campaign 3. minimize il2, go back to dcg, choose the squadron, etc 4. select "offline auto-generation" 5. click on generate mission in dcg 6. back to il2, click on start campaign, start mission (always an "armed recon" or "destroy the carriers") 7. mission complet…

I'm running a customised new guinea 42 campaign in 4.12.2m with CUP (BAT WAW selected), added new unit and assigned an aircraft in the Squadron Editor, the Unit is listed as IJA_F_S_9z00, and when the mission is generated, the game thinks that unit is Allied but 'unknown' and the markings are Russian! Ive got a really good working custom new guinea 42 campaign, with extra locations such as the airfield and airstrip on Goodenough Island actually being used by DCG! Much more interesting than continually operating out of Schwimmer! However, I digress. What is going on is the campaign seems to stall into a stalemate with the same types of missions repeating over and over, with no ground forces actually occupying any new territory. So, my fix for the stalemate is the timetable file, and I have discovered the TCapture feature and it works great for artificially advancing the war. I have noticed that DCG always seems to start a campaign with the same units, and even if you manually add units to the campaign using the squadron editor DCG rarely uses the new units. It also seems to keep the number of units in the war low, is there a setting for this? And how does DCG prioritize unit use, does it choose the units from the top down?

Is there any campaign to download that works with the generator that covers the Jet War period? I was reading the forums on SAS and it says the native DGEN is not compatible with the years for Jet War. So I was wondering if there is any for Il-2 DCG. Thanks for the help in advance.

As said in the title. I get thrown in the first available squadron and didn't find how to choose the squadron in the first place. I can only choose which service I'm in. It probably has an obvious answer, but I'm not finding it. Thanks for your time!

A little question to begin 2022: To keep the RandomNoseArt=True option working correctly, how much files max can I have in the Noseart folder to get all of them selected by the software function? Hello, first off thank you for making and supporting this awesome mod. I have a few questions about DCG. I am getting a strange issue where after I land my plane and end the mission, I get a “premonition of death” even though I did not die and I returned to my home airport. This has happened 3 times out of about 30 or so flights I’ve done in my campaign. I seem to recall that each time it happened, My plane did take some very light damage during the mission but did I not get wounded or have any systems malfunction. I always park just a few meters off the runway when I finish a mission, and then do some pretty significant time compression to allow the rest of the…

Does anyone have a download of Vonofterdingen's Minsk to Moscow DCG Campaign? It is available online via Mission4Today but the site apparently has issues securing user login info (passwords, email). You can "safely" visit the site as a guest and not login at all, but of course you cannot download anything as a guest. So just wondering if anyone has the campaign .zip file in Google Drive or something. Thanks.

Say I started in a bomber squadron and I wanted to fly for a fighter squadron after flying in the bomber squadron for awhile, is it possible for me to transfer to another squadron?
