Morning all, one of my favourite video channels, C&Rsenal, has recently been demonetised by YouTube admins. I'd hate to see them flounder after years of doing fantastic documentaries on the history and development of World War I firearms, which is why I've decided to support them by upping my Patreon pledge. Unfortunately many other channels that do history shows are at a constant risk of being stripped of ad revenue, which is why Patreon support is so important to so many of them. That's why I'm starting this thread - perhaps some of you would like to support these creators yourselves and free them of the chain around the neck that is AdSense. Please have …

Played this back in the 90's. Still around, and looks like they have partnered up with microprose and are working on a new and improved version, new gfx engine. It could be possible that may help kick IL2 guys in the can, to get some resolutions in place for all of the spotting issues being experienced by so many .

I've been meaning to make a new video to promote the Thursday fly-in in Flying Circus....and it wouldn't be a Thursday Fly-In Trailer without some good JG1 clips! So, if anyone has any good tracks it would be great if you could PM them to me! Here's the old RoF fly-in trailer, to get a sense of what kind of footage works well:

In which I dive into a 20+ plane furball and immediately regret my decision: On a side note, watching back Hotlead's stream after the night, was very happy to see Gen mention a "93rd SPAD"! Would hate to be lumped in with that US103 lot, ya'know? Was also really cool that Gen noticed the number. I actually officially fly No. 0, but 24 is my "other other SPAD"

sorry jasta for being distant recently. got let go from my dealership so I've been in my head for a bit. but with the extra time on my hand... I've been diving into manuals and tutorials to learn how to tame the giant fleet protector the f14 tomcat. getting pretty good at flying her. still practicing my a2a refueling. i'm getting off the subject here. so I got a couple questions. A: are there any templates to paint the big bird? B: is anyone else in the squadron Tom Cruise'n it up and wants a rookie wingman? 😄 anyone want to RIO up with me and be my Goose? thanks in advance

Hey Guys, there 3 (!) new announcements in the IL2-Forum.... The most important: The next Theater in WW2 will be "Battle of Normandy" and guys..... please look at the map and esp. on the city-names you read on the eastern part of it: So if THAT map does not shout out loud "PLEASE RE-USE ME FOR FLYING CIRCUS Vol. II - The Channel Map" .... (and also for a Battle of Britain-Usage... but thats anther question).... 🤔 ...then I don't know.... 😁

S! All, FC has several problems with the new objects. Many do not work as they did in RoF. One of the greatest hindrances is the soggy ground. It prevents map makers from placing additional airfields on the map. If you spawn in now, your wheels are all bogged down. It also means we loose missions that require a plane to land behind enemy lines such as the Spy, General Capture and Prisoner rescue missions from FiF. I posted a poll on the IL2 forums. Please vote.

I figured some of you jet guys might like this. Seems to be modeled to some extent after an F-14 grip? Lots of axis, and it even has a (lockable) twist rudder option....which I know is a big thing for a lot of people. I almost thought about getting it, but it doesn't have enough hats for me. It is cool that all these different grips are available....if you can afford them. They're easy to change out if you wanted authenticity on planes that you're flying. There is of course the A-10 Warthog and the new F-18 grip from TM, the T-50 CM grip from Virpil (which I guess is based on the Russian SU something-or-other), and now this F-14 based grip. Any one of them would wo…

So I was flying with Kliegmann and started messing with my aileron trim prior to takeoff and this happened....... The center section of my plane disappeared, Look at the pic attached. I did not try to take off, maybe I should have to see , definitely lost all of my blind spots from the 109 Canopy supports, side of cockpit etc etc. May have been a huge visual advantage ! Although losing the all gauges was probably not an ideal situation either ! Looking to the rear, you could see the tail of the fuselage, and some control hardware in the center. I did not get a screen of that

S! all . Back in the Day I used to fly with JG1. I'm currently into the BOS series, more specifically Tank Crew. I'm working on setting up a loose affiliation or German Armor players. One big problem the German side has, on the E-front Server, the main tank one, is that the Russians almost always outnumber us horribly in the Air. For any here that might be interested in some combined arms fighting, whether fighter, or attack aircraft, I could think of no better or well suited group to ask for some volunteers for some action on the weekends. I'm on PST, and am still working on the details of the best time to assemble, etc, if anyone here is interested …

After posting I thought is this okay to do? In this post I purely want you to show how the space looks like, where I sit while I meet you guys in the virtual skies. No one thinks or cares the same as others about their stuff, for instance I'm not a great car washer, but I do care a lot for my bows, that makes us as human beings different and beautiful. By no means I have a negative feeling about someone who has organized his rig in an other way or wants to spend more or less money on the set up. On the contrary I find that interesting. I'm open for suggestions to improve my space with ..... yeah I know I don't have a MW poster 😪 The original post: @Lipfert…
